Zero regard for their appointment schedule. They were over an hour late and completely wasted my time.

Look. Nobody wants to be here. Nobody wants to have to get vaccinated. We hate getting flu shots. But why does your staff hate being there? We made an appointment for 8pm but had a conflict so we MODIFIED the appointment two days in advance for a day earlier. We arrived and the tech said “sorry but your appointment is tomorrow.” We said no, we modified it. Here’s the email showing our new appointment time. She shrugged her shoulders and said “it’s not in the computer.” I asked, is this a third party appointment system or is this your system? She said it’s THEIR system. So I asked if it’s our fault that her system is flawed. She was extremely rude but the pharmacist agreed to see us after nearly insisting that she ask. They aren’t at all busy either. My suggestion is to offer some grace to customers when your system is in error. That’s not my fault and I drove a long way for this “appointment”.

Dismissive, condescending practitioner. Came back a week later for a follow up after symptoms didn’t improve; I was late for my appt time. So I checked in and waited patiently. For a clinic that also takes walk-in appts all day (and wasn’t closing for another 2.5 hours), you would have thought I was trying to jump the line at Disney. The PA and nurse were baffled and told me my appt was canceled (never got any kind of notification of this, and was able to check in just fine on the kiosk). I wasn’t asking to be seen before anyone who had an appt, didn’t ask how long the wait would be, just sat there - nothing that would warrant the perceived entitlement this nurse assumed. I quickly tried to explain I had seen her five days ago and was told to come back if my symptoms didn’t improve. They hadn’t. She then explained to me how she would need to examine me and wouldn’t just be doling out antibiotics “if that’s what I had in mind.” Easy lady - I’ve had an easier time getting Xanax. Even as a last resort this set up blows. They will make you wait (a woman with a 5:30 appt was right next to me in the lobby at 6pm), prove you’re sick enough for a generic antibiotic, and then you’ll have immediate IBS from their billing. I have regular insurance, I would even describe it as good, but the first time the nurse pulled my info after a strep test and flu test, she asked if I didn’t have insurance. LOL come again? I already put into your precheck system, but you asked me all the same questions anyways. The cost was very high, and allegedly CVS minute clinic isn’t billed as an urgent care facility?! ? just suffer through your illness, spare yourself the exposure of this cesspool. The woman who took my vitals was friendly though, and she did all the work.

Set up appointment for COVID booster dose: received confirmation: arrived on time: no doses available. Would not recommend.

This is my first option for any minute clinic visits. Always clean and professional! Many thanks to Vanessa and Nurse Austin for helping me.

The provider I saw was rude and no help. Also- my visit summary lists a different person than my bill (my bill had the correct provider name) including who prescribed me the medicine. I went there for a skin complaint on my hands and they never examined my hands, they did all kinds of check up but never examined the issue I came in there for. The doctor I saw was rude and she would not listen to me on how my skin issue started until she finally conceded at the end. She could not answer my questions, I asked questions about what her prescription would do for me and she told me to read the instructions.... mind you I asked WHAT it would do for me not HOW to use it. Would never come back here again and to any MinuteClinic if I can help it.

Long wait 30+ minute past appointment time with appointment for vaccination shot. Recommend going elsewhere for quick appointments

Worst billing department ever. I was told before I left my appointment I had paid in full. 7 months later received a bill for 43.00 dollars. Called to dispute the charges 3 times and was told each time a manager would call me back. Of course this never hapeened.I nstead they sent it to collections. They is legal thief and sad to say I had to pay so I didn't get a more damaging ding to my credit report.

Sorry for the length. This pharmacy will never win any awards for reliability or customer service; the employees are sullen and act overworked. But most days, I am able to accomplish what I'm trying to do. Today, however, was not one of those days. I made an appointment for a booster on the CVS website with their Minute Clinic (MC), arrived early, and received a text that instructed me to check in at the MC kiosk with the code in the text. I did so, and sat and waited. After a few minutes, an employee from the MC approached me and asked what I was doing there. I said I was there for a booster. The gentleman condescendingly implied that I didn't read the text correctly and that I was supposed to check in at the pharmacy. The text VERY CLEARLY said to check in at the MC kiosk. But, as instructed, I walked over the pharmacy and waited for about 10 minutes, then was asked what I needed. I said a booster, and that I had tried to check in at the MC kiosk but was told that was wrong and that I needed to check in at the pharmacy. The pharmacy employee rolled her eyes, said no, you need to check in at the MC kiosk. I said I did, but they sent me to her. She shrugged and walked away from me. So I went back to the MC, and told my story to another MC employee. She said no, I needed to go back to the pharmacy. I said they really don't want me there and they sent me to her. She then walked me over to the pharmacy and told the pharmacy employee that I needed a booster. That employee said I will have to make an appointment on the CVS website. I said, "That's what I did!" They said, no, you made an appointment at the Minute Clinic, we don't take walk-ins, and you need to make an appointment online for the pharmacy. My appointment was for 0930. It was now 1000. I left the store without getting my booster. FAIL

This review is for MinuteClinic in VA22301. Back in Dec 2020, I went to CVS MinuteClinic to complete a Wellness exam, which is established program between my insurance provider and CVS. After the exam was done, the nurse said that the information would be sent to my insurance provider directly, so I wouldn't need to follow up. However, after 1 month, my insurance provider told me that they didn't got the wellness report. I called the MC in my neghborhood, but the phone was directed to the headquarter, which is a disaster. I spent 20 minuts on the phone. But the Rep have no idea what they are doing/talking. They said they cannot send the information to the insurance provider without a fax number. I double checked the voucher I used in CVS, there is no such thing. And my husband did the same exam in the same MC, his information was sent to our insurance provider long time ago. After I talked to the insurance, I learnt it is a a established program both parties using their own system to send the wellness information without using a fax number. First, the MC nurse who completed my exam didn't follow up properly, she didn't send my information to the place she was supposed to do. Maybe she just let the info sitting on her desk, it is a privacy event. Second, the MC call center is a paxn to talk to. They challenged me about the missing fax number while they have no idea there is no fax number needed in the first place. They didn't solve any problem. To conclude, go to your regular medical provider and don't use the MC service in Monroe Ave 22301. This location cost you money and time to follow up the things they are not capable to complete.

Efficient, clean, professional. Made an appointment online, checked in at kiosk on site and was called in 5 mins later. Exam was thorough and medication options were explained clearly. Prescriptions immediately sent to pharmacy in the same CVS. I walked up to the pharmacy counter and the pharmacist already received my order. Best Minute Clinic experience in NOVA. From check-in to receiving my meds, total time was 47 minutes.
