Had appointments for 3 small children to get vaccinations. Any parents of young children will know how hard it is to get kids <5 loaded to take anywhere…and can imagine how frustrated we were to arrive and find out that they were out of the vaccines AND HAD BEEN FOR MORE THAN A WEEK!!! Seriously?!?! It seems like either stop scheduling appointments if you don’t have the vaccine or call and let people know. Also, it’s absolutely impossible to get a live person on the phone to answer any questions just in case you’re not frustrated enough.

i arrived for my tb test reading. i had to have the reading after a specific timeframe and before a specific timeframe and had a scheduled appointment. I was not given a confirmation code therefore i was u able to sign in from the kiosk machine. There was a patient in the office and I was told to wait and I was not on the schedule. upon further review the nurse scheduled me for the right time but the wrong date, outside of the timeframe. i appreciate that I am able to be seen however customer service was poor!

I scheduled an appointment for a COVID booster and I got there on time and checked in at the kiosk. There seemed to be another patient inside the doctor's office but no one came out for the next 20 minutes. I heard some talking and laughing from inside, so I had to knock on the door to let the doctor know and the patient came out soon. As walking in, I complained about the wait and he confronted quite strongly saying that he couldn't just "kick people out". But A) That was simply not what I was asking for. B) He didn't seem to have tried to shorten the wait time either. I also prefer to interact with medical professionals in a more humane manner, but when you know there's an appointment scheduled in advance and the person's already checked in and waiting outside, it's also your job to make arrangements, for example, cutting the chatting part down, to make sure everything runs on time as much as possible without kicking people out. At least, just a word of sorry could have helped. Why does it have to be so hard?

I'm surprised this CVS is even a 2 star. I've been to the minute clinic several times. It is always a difficulty time when I do come here. Either they can't do something or the minute clinic representative always finds a way to cancel the patients appointment. Her excuse is "it can't be done" also the pharmacy representative is not friendly at all and he seemed as though he did not want to assist customers with questions pertaining to the pharmacy! All around they are rude and disrespectful including the manager. I don't know if this is how they are trained but they should treat each customer as if it were their family member! With respect, courtesy and kindness! Save your energy and time and don't go to this minute clinic, it will just be an added unnecessary headache !

I was feeling sick and I decided to go here. The service was extremely fast; I was seen in less than 10 minutes. The doctor was patient and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the reasons behind my symptoms and what I could do to improve my health, without any judgement. I am already feeling better after 48 hrs.If I had waited to see my Primary Doctor it would have taken weeks for something that even though it was not an emergency, it was of high priority to me due to the way I was feeling.Great service, highly recommended!

Used to be a decent place to get quick appointment for routine prescription. The new provider there is just awful. Could not find my records and didn't try to address that issue. Was told I needed to bring my test results with me, despite the fact they have been on file with them for over a year. Does not listen to or address questions. Kept interrupting to say the same thing she already did that did not address my concerns. She told me she "did not have time" to address questions about my health. Completely unacceptable. After going here for over a year I will not be returning.

This is a negative review, so I will place my name right at the top. I am Dan Sweet, and this is solely my experience at a CVS Minute Clinic in Belle Haven, a suburb of Alexandria, VA. I do not know what level of service other patients receive, or if other locations provide better service. Zero stars are not an option, so I grudgingly give them one.I made an appointment online for a Sunday morning visit. As requested when I made the appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early. Due to the pandemic and social distancing, the app told me I should wait in the parking lot and not come in until I was called. The app showed my wait time counting down to zero, where it held for about 5 minutes. Then it jumped back up to 15 minutes, and it showed others in line, including one person who had "registered." I finally got tired of waiting and went inside. The person seeing patients was with another person, so the door was closed. I started to check in on the computer, but I didn't realize my registration code was in an early text message. Nothing in the app or online had told me I would need to register, so I didn't think to look for it.When the attendant (no idea what her medical education is) came out, she did not introduce herself, but asked if I was NAME. I confirmed I was, and she asked if I had registered yet. I told her that the app told me not to come in until I was called, and I didn't know I had to register, and I didn't know where my registration code was located. She had the nerve to ask me "Aren't you the Dan I called?" No. No, I wasn't the person she called. I would have understood the process much better HAD she called as the app indicated she would. She told me where the registration code was, and I registered in about five minutes on their computer. The exam for a skin condition was cursory. I told her what I thought it was, which she said it wasn't. She asked a few questions, but never told me what she thought the skin condition was. She seemed more concerned about the occasional cigars I smoke than the skin condition which is on my ankle. She prescribed an anti-fungal cream and I was on my way.Let's be blunt: This system failed miserably. The attendant never called me to come in, and then essentially challenged me when I asked why I wasn't called. I have ZERO confindence in her diagnosis, and will see my own doctor tomorrow. As far as I'm concerned, I wasted $20 on this "exam" and another $10 for the prescription cream. Before I set foot in another CVS "Minute Clinic", I will waste hundreds of dollars to visit an emergency room instead.

Walked in at about 2:15pm on a Thursday. Looked like there was one other person waiting. Signs said clinic closed until end of the lunch break at 2:30. Signed in at kiosk. At end it said "We'll see you in about 135 minutes". Whaaa?! Decided to take a chance since I saw only one other person waiting. The clinician called 2 different names and neither person was there. The other person waiting went in. Seemed to take all of 5 minutes. Then she called me in. So though the kiosk said 135 minute wait, I was seen in 15-20 minutes. Clinician was pleasant and seemed competent. I needed a flu test so my visit was not complicated.

Sounds good in theory, but in practice it is really hit or miss. Showed up at 8:40 on a Saturday with 2 little kids to get in line for when they open at 9AM. We were 3rd in line, but couldn't check in until 9. The 2 older patients ahead of us couldn't figure out the touch screen check in. So, we didnt get checked in until 9:10. At that point, we got passed in the waiting line by someone who registered online who was "not present." So, our wait was going to be 54 mins. And, the provider didnt show up until 9:05 and didn't take the first patient until 9:10. I asked the provider about someone online bumping someone waiting to register, and she said that was just their policy like it was no big deal. We cancelled our spots and left. We have insurance, so our copay is the same here as at the urgent care where we see a doctor not an N.P.

Kiosks times are incorrect, time says wait is 1 hour, took 2 hrs.

I have frequented this CVS Pharmacy for over ten YEARS. Today will be the last day. This branch is within walking distance however I will now go out of my way now to use a different pharmacy. Why is every experience here so painfully awful?! Every single prescription is an ordeal. They never get my prescriptions for some odd reason (no matter what doctors office writes it) however I will get text notification that my orders are ready...ODD! Today I had to request to speak with someone friendly. Let me remind you, you are in customer service in the HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY! Attitude goes A LONG WAY. It's not just bad customer service it is subpar. Today the cashier at the pharmacy thought it was appropriate to use a hand gesture to get me into her line while clearly helping another customer (who was having issues with her) while eating and then proceeds to speak to me like a dog. Same story today I received a text message to pick up my prescription yet they dont have it. The cashier tells me to go to the pick up window the pickup window tells me to go to the line to check out. This place is a hot mess! At the registers next to me I could over hear confusion and frustration as well. WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE ISSUES HERE!? I have also witnessed poor behavior towards seniors. I'm truly disgusted by the lack of compassion and professionalism.
