Moving to the DC area and had a Mortgage discussion appointment with this office. The representative, Mrs Iolanda, was amazing in taking care of us fellow Navy family by talking about the area, and provided helpful tips about buying homes. Highly recommend NFCU for Navy family employees taking care of other Navy families.

Good gud evening y’all. I feel appalled for being a member over 2 1/2 decades, I meant to change my name on my shipping labels with Harland Clark their subsidiary and oversight agency of personal postal labels. I am also distressed because sir Michael was NOT compassionate nor professional. Most of their tellers and clerks Would be clarifying what documents I needed to have the name change including updated Social Security card and birth certificate, and I’m a legal resident of Virginia Commonwealth. I felt being racially profiled and he basically said that I had forged my Social Security card, and my marriage certificate/vital statistics report”licensed and endorsed by J.Gregg Parks in 2020Nov (post -COVID strains Post Coronavirus epidemic and brutally disastrous Universal Pandemic) with COL. Cederick was not authenticated, could NOT be accepted back pre-pandemic; however DOB can be confirmed They NĀVY FEDERAL federal bank-teller Didn’t understand I didn’t want Colonel Cedric on my account because I pay mortgage for tiny condo, just simple name change on personal Check accounts.Woah. As if I really have the equipment and water-powered-Microsoft machines to make an identification card and Social Security card?!?; and he proceeded to Tell me my military sponsor card, when I am the sponsor— was fraudulent, “counterfeit-ly l” crafted”determined to be changed in 2023 MERELY because his father’s rank 06 or 07 level retired after 29 years in the Army with a bet ($$120,000 annually) knows the identification legal Documents process/policies. Micheal or Mick Michael in his name-tag (??!Sp) said (it was approx 16:03hrs today 21st APRIL ‘23) the issuing agency would not accept my name to Julia Roberts or Audrey Hepburn wannabe** for that matters over there at Joint Fort Myers Henderson Hall issuing authority. I feel surely forlorn and agitated by presenting what newly issued legal immigrant BIRTHED TO UNITED STATES citizens, SS. card. And I do have an appointment with USPS 09th May ‘23 to renew 2022 passport. I do not recommend and consider Merrifield or Springfield to cede and provide better service, in the future.“By the way, thanks for listening as I savor reg bergamot Aurantium Bergamia EARL-GRAY tēa baggages with BROWN Colombian sugar granules and 1% horizon-brand-milk this evening, in the next 19/25minutes. May y’all have a splendid weekend uhhh i pray.”

I want to thank the young gentleman with the blonde-tipped dreads. He helped me in my panicked state last Friday.I visited for a cashier's check, and he got me squared a way within 5 minutes.I didn't have enough funds in my Navy Fed checking account, and he calmly navigated through a funds transfer between my other bank account and the Navy Fed one, then he created the cashiers check immediately after.Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The place was crowded and seemed busy, but it was the smoothest bank experience I've had to date!

Terrible HELOC experience. The "equity processor" slow-rolled my loan approval despite having all the paperwork in promptly. She did not return my phone calls or respond to my emails until the fourth or so attempt to reach her. The equity closing and settlement specialist failed to tell me the 'starter checks' I was being mailed with my closing paperwork were for INTERNAL use only, meaning, I could write MYSELF a check and cash it at a branch (yes, walk-in, not electronically deposit this check). I mailed one of these checks to a firm that was doing the work on my house and they were unable to cash it. To my humiliation, this check does not work if I did not write this to MYSELF. Why, NFCU - WHY bother with these useless checks?? When I requested checks, I was told these checks are only able to be used if the payee walks in to a bank to cash or deposit the check (ugh) and, the nail in the coffin, if I got a credit card to use my loan monies, the card would take five to 10 business days to arrive. NFCU refused to waive the $12 FedEx fee. This card initially was not necessary since the NFCU staff told me I could move monies in and out of my accounts on my app easily, which is NOT TRUE. I have discovered there is no accessing the HELOC monies from the NFCU app. NFCU, I expected a lot more from your organization.
