5 STARS!!! My daughter and I have been going here for years. From the moment we walk into the salon, we always feel completely pampered and cared for. The atmosphere is warm and stylish. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy being pampered.
I have to give a special shoutout to Sophea, who is nothing short of a miracle worker. Not only does she take the time to understand exactly what we want, she also offers expert suggestions that elevate our hairstyles. Afterwards, our hair is always shiny, healthy, and the cut is absolutely flawless. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and incredibly skilled at her craft from the decades of experience. And the head massage when she washes your hair....WOW!!
The nail technician is equally amazing. She's meticulous, gentle, and incredibly talented. My daughter's nails turned out stunning, with a perfect shape and polish.
Old Town Salon has been our go to salon for years. We always leave feeling confident, refreshed, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Duong was amazing! Super sweet and fantastic work! I had bitten my nails to the quick, and I just wanted natural looking nails. She was able to work magic with a full gel x set! Super quality products and cute salon. Will definitely be back!

Great place that I went to in order to get my eye brows waxed. I didn't have an appointment and just showed up for a walk-in and they helped me almost immediately. The woman that waxed my eye brows definitely knew what she was doing as well. She saw there were some poorly managed spots on my eye brows upon first glance and adjusted what she did to make them look good.
All in all I would definitely go back to the place. Sadly, I am not a resident here in Alexandria and was just visiting friends. If I am back in the area though I will definitely be making a stop.

Old Town Salon and Spa is a rare place to get a good and reasonably priced haircut, color and style. The business has been around for 17 years and is at the very north of Old Town, making it easy to avoid crowds and traffic. The owner is an absolute gem, and it’s clear she has an expert understanding of the science and art of hair. I went in for a cut/highlight/style combo on very thick, semi wavy, color treated hair. She very patiently explained the best cut and the maintenance it would involve, down to the details of what brush sizes would be best for styling. One thing I especially loved is how accommodating she was— when I explained that I often go longer than recommended between upkeep appointments, there was no judgment like you might find at other places. She simply suggested actual solutions, which was very refreshing and very much appreciated.
Inside, the salon has lots of natural daylight and very comfortable chairs (comfy enough to sit in for 2 plus hours!) there are also nail services and cuts for men as well as the whole family. I am so glad I tried it and next time will be back with enough time to also get my nails done! Thank you Old Town Salon and Spa for a beautiful hairdo!

I had my first time experience attending this nail salon. I had Ashley do my French Shellac Mani and Pedi. She gave me a wonderful massage. She was very thorough in cleaning my feet and hands. She is by appointment only.

I've been going to Ashley (new nail Technician at Old Town Salon and Spa) for one year and I followed her from the previous salon. She's the most talented and skilled nail technician I've ever had and is very attentive to her customers needs. She's always up-to-date on the latest trends, and she's always able to give me the exact look I'm going for. Ashley is also incredibly meticulous and detail-oriented. She takes her time to make sure that my nails are perfect, and she always goes above and beyond to make sure that I'm happy with the results. In addition to being a great nail technician, Ashley is also a wonderful person. She's always friendly and welcoming, and she makes every appointment feel like a treat. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for the best nail technician in town. Several of the photos listed here are not from Ashley! ;)

I absolutely LOVE Sophea!!! She has been threading my eyebrows for over 20 years!!!! I always get so many compliments on my eyebrows. I live 45 minutes from the salon, but it doesn’t matter. I do not trust anybody else with my eyebrows and will always make the journey to see Sophea!!!Service: Eyebrow threading

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Old Town Salon & Spa! The owner is fantastic with cutting hair and doing my eyebrows, the prices are very competitive and the renovation they recently completed is gorgeous.
