Did a class with Kelly today and it was so challenging and fun!!! The music was also perfect for going hard. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member st this studio for about 2 years, with a slight break in between due to a medical procedure. Overall, I enjoyed my time at this studio and the workouts were fine. At least this was the case when Allison was the studio manager. For the past month, I’ve been contacting the studio on a weekly basis, at times, several times a week to try to cancel my membership. Everytime, I’m told that the new studio manager, Bekah, would handle it and this has yet to happen. I’ve left emails, voicemails, etc and have been consistently ignored. The lack of professionalism and subpar customer service exhibited by this studio is truly shocking. This isn’t the OTF that I know. This morning, I saw that the studio charged my card for another month of membership despite them ignoring my request to cancel my membership since LAST MONTH. Bekah is clearly over her head and does not know how to run a studio. Like other reviewers, I will be disputing the charge and canceling my card to avoid future charges.

Looks like I am not alone in having recurring issues with the studio manager, Bekah. I have enjoyed Orange Theory very much, but truly regret being a member at this studio. I have an injury that is preventing me from exercising, on the advice of my doctor and PT. Based on my contract with the studio, I should be able to pause or cancel my membership without being charged. Bekah has repeatedly failed to do this. When I call, the studio staff tell me they will address this with her ASAP, but I never get resolution.I finally had to dispute the charges directly with my bank and cancel my credit card entirely so they can't charge me anymore, what a pain. If you want to try Orange Theory, do yourself a favor and sign up at the Bradlee shopping center studio. I have taken classes there too and always received much better service.

I'm a service member currently forward-deployed overseas. I have been trying to cancel my membership at this location for nearly a month and Bekah, the studio manager, will not respond to my emails or send me the paperwork necessary to cancel. Every time I call this location the (very kind and friendly) front desk associate tells me that the studio manager is the only person who can effectuate my cancellation. Exactly what I hoped NOT to be dealing with mid-deployment. Thanks, OTF Potomac Yard!

I signed up for a complementary newcomer class and days later was charged after I was told it would be complementary. The workout was unorganized and there were only a few people in attendance. It’s not as fun as it use to be.

I bought a $500 class pack at this location, and shortly thereafter, tore a tendon in my ankle - my doctor thinks it likely occurred after a particularly brutal OTF workout. Since then, I have been unable to return to exercise of this intensity, and my orthopedist says I should avoid high impact exercise like this going forward because of the potential for injury. Despite all of this, this location has kept my $500 and refuses to issue a refund, even though I didn't sign a contract and a have a verifiable medical issue.Very poor business ethics - wouldn't recommend this location.

Love it here. Great intensity workout. Staff is there to help if you need it. Don't be ashamed to ask. Staff is very welcoming and patient.

I'm not sure why this studio has so many negative reviews but I've had nothing but positive experiences here. The sales staff and front desk are genuinely some of the kindest I've encountered at the three studios I've visited in northern VA. For an Orangetheory studio, they are extremely fair and lenient with their late cancellation fees and have even excused one for me when snow was an issue. The coaches are all very good, especially Kasey and Darby. The coaches here all actually take the time to correct form and provide tips. The only negatives in my opinion are parking and the studio is a bit smaller. I would highly recommend this specific studio over some others in the area!

I enjoy this location of OTF- it’s convenient to my house and the coaches do a good job. All are super upbeat and friendly! Bathrooms and lobby are clean. Classes are easy to get into and there is a good amount of natural light in the studio. Putting my membership on hold was no problem. OTF, as a workout program, is fairly boring and repetitive, which is why I’ve cancelled my membership. However, I appreciate the treadmill element, which I would never do on my own.You will be asked to buy a heart rate monitor. It is not necessary to work out, but it might be nice to see your name on the screen. I have an Apple Watch and just use that.I paid $109 for 8 workouts/mo, and $159 for unlimited. You do need a long lead time to cancel, so plan accordingly.

I’ve had a fantastic experience so far at OTF. This is my first experience with OTF, so I have nothing to compare it to. The coaches are really good and helpful. The staff has been accomodating and let me cancel at the last minute when I was stuck in traffic. You do have to plan out your workouts way in advance, particularly if you workout in the evening. This works for me... it may not work with others who have more fluid schedules.

Orange Theory is Shady. If you are looking for an example of a company that didn't play fair during the pandemic, look no further than Orange Theory. They shut billing off for their customers in March of 2020 through May, and then, by sending what looked like junk email, they reactivated billing in June -- never mind that by September they were dealing with headlines out of Chicago that 18 people got COVID at just one of their locations.
