very rude staff, i am a student and i just came in to look for some stuff with my friend and i got distracted by the cute christmas decorations i saw and all of a sudden this woman comes up and asked me if i was going to buy the thing i was holding, she said i shouldnt be touching it. First of all, i had no clue of a no touching policy and second of all, couldnt she have said it any nicer? i then put the object back on the shelf and didnt touch anything else. Instead i was only looking and pointing at the decor with my friend cause they were seriously so adorable. But then the lady comes again saying “we have no business being in this aisle” and she told us to just get out straight up. I understand the first time if there really is a no touching policy, but the second time she said something was just rude and unprofessional. I know that some people have bad days but that is no way to treat customers. I suspect that she was treating me and my friend that certain way because she knew we were students and most likely thought we were stealing. Which is just stupid. You dont just suspect anybody that comes in with a backpack, and even if you do. You dont be rude to them. I suspect this because right after we walked away, another customer was right by her and she was being polite to them. Which just makes me believe my suspicion even more. I do not like this customer service and if you are anyone who walks in with a backpack, just dont be in the way of the staff because they think you are some kind of felon or something. Terrible store wont be coming back for sure. Dont know the name of the lady but shes asian and thats all you have to know

The Walgreens pharmacy on West Braddock Rd in Alex. Va has the worst customer service. They are always short staff. The line is nearly reaching the front door. To make it even worst once you arrive to pick up your prescriptions they will tell you that it is not ready yet. After sending the customer numerous texts, emails and phone calls let you know that your prescriptions are ready. You have elder, sick people standing in line only to be turned away. Today I used my lunch break to run over to pick my prescriptions up only to be told they are not ready yet and they do not know when they will be ready. Once I returned back to the office Walgreens call me to tell me I can now pick the prescriptions up. This is ridiculous. I am having my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacist. Terrible service.

First time trying this pharmacy and it was a fail. My doctor called in the prescription and told me to go there right afterward. Two hours later and they still don’t have it ready. You were told to have a seat and they will call your name, but that doesn’t happen. There’s a constant line of at least five people, and they have no regard fo Urgency whatsoever.

Was looking for some “Good Belly antacids. Wasn’t able to locate and within the store. I was approached by a very helpful staff member who did some research via his Walgreens computer. Turns out the product I was looking for is not for sale in Walgreens. The staff member was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. I will continue to use this store to find future products. The store is bright, clear isles lovely decor.

Waited in line for 30 minutes to drop off a prescription only for them to not have my medication in stock. This is usually my go to pharmacy but there was no urgency or remorse for wasting my time, which included having other customers skip me in line. I will be going elsewhere to fill my prescriptions from now on.

Pharmacy closed on holidays. Wise to check hours/availability before having your physician call in a Rx here.

I would not recommend this Walgreens pharmacy. I have been going to them for a little over a year to get my prescriptions. Multiple times, I have called them to refill or fill a Rx. One person tells me one thing “that the script can be filled,” then when I don’t get notifications on my phone about the status of the script, I call in again to hear, “we cannot order the medicine.” No call backs to let me know that they cannot fill the script, no nothing. They are pretty bad about letting me know what the status is about my prescriptions.
Second, it is always busy. It takes between 15 minutes-45 minutes to answer a phone call when calling to check.
Third, the line is always packed and there is only one person checking people out. If there are problems w a person’s insurance, that adds to the time spent in the line.
The only positive thing about this Walgreens’s is the store. It is kept up really well, always stocked, clean, etc.

Extremely pleasant, clean & well-stocked store. Whenever I come in, staff members greet me with a warm smile & sincere hello. (Even very early in the morning.) No grumpiness here! I appreciate this oasis of kindness in the Bradlee Shopping Center.

Poor Service Experience at Photo Printing Branch
I would like to share my recent experience with your photo printing service, which has unfortunately been very disappointing.
This is not my first time ordering photo prints—I often create magnet photos and printed gifts for my students and friends. However, on this occasion, the service I received at your branch was the worst I have encountered.
When I arrived to pick up my order, which included photos printed on playing cards and bags sent from your company, the female staff member assisting me was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. She did not ask for my tracking or order number and initially refused to assist me, speaking in a rude and unpleasant tone. I had to insist and provide my order number before she even attempted to locate my items.
What was most upsetting was the overall attitude and lack of basic customer service. Her tone, body language, and unwillingness to help made me feel looked down on and disrespected. It felt as though I was being discriminated against, and the service was provided unequally and without any courtesy.
I strongly believe that your staff should be trained in customer service etiquette and reminded of the importance of treating every customer with respect and fairness. I hope this feedback helps improve your service and ensures that no one else has to go through a similar experience.

Go anywhere else but here. It is astounding how no one knows how to work the registers or understand how to check out customers correctly. It's the basics, and not even the manager knew what to do.

I’m so thankful for the service I received during my recent visit to Walgreens. I had requested help with something, and to my surprise, I was taken care of even faster than expected! The woman who assisted me was extremely polite, helpful, and professional.
What stood out the most was her patience—not just with me, but with every guest she interacted with. It made the whole experience feel calm and welcoming, even during a busy time. That kind of attentiveness and kindness goes a long way and definitely made a positive impression on me.
I really appreciate the excellent customer service and will absolutely return. Thank you for making my visit smooth and stress-free!

Horribly slow pharmacy service every time I go in there

I’m giving 2 stars instead of none because the pharmacist and techs are generally polite. The problem is extremely slow service and a complete inability to do basic things like text u when your refill is ready, even though I opted for notifications. The techs just make stuff up about how insurance won’t pay for refill until the last day of the previous scrip which is simply untrue. Or they blame “the system” and say they’ll talk to the district manager but nothing ever changes. I never had problems with the Walgreens on Duke St. that closed. They said Bradlee would take over my prescriptions “seamlessly”. It been anything but. This is more than inconvenience — it’s a health issue when they force you to wait until you are literally out of medicine before they’ll refill it. Do better Walgreen’s!!!
