Very pretty, but unclear what there actually is to do there. Pretty little walk, pretty garden, but I don't think there were any buildings to go into, and no interpretation that we could find.It was nice! Especially in nice weather. Maybe not worth a drive on its own, but if you're going to Alexandria anyway, it's a nice quick stop!

My daughter, wife & I had a fantastic time. It had wide open space to run around, the animals were so cute for the little ones to play or ride on and the food was a bit expensive but pretty good.Why only four stars? MORE TRASH CANS!!!!!! I can’t tell you how many times people walked around wondering how or where they were supposed to throw away their trash.

So, I went to my friend's wedding at River Farm, and it was honestly such a great experience. The venue itself is beautiful, and it has this interesting history that adds a nice touch.What really got me was the view of the water. Picture this: rocking chairs overlooking the water, just a perfect spot to take a breather from all the wedding excitement. It was surprisingly relaxing.Overall, River Farm made the whole wedding feel special. If you're ever looking for a venue with charm and a chill vibe, I'd totally recommend it.

Very nice but you have to be ready to walk and bring food and fruit to eat outdoors. Very nice experience. I recommend it to get out of the ordinary.

Great wedding Venue- beautiful gardens overlooking the Potomac River. The large tent connected to the Manor house easily accommodated 100 guests and there was plenty of room for dance floor.
