Loyal customer order two three times a week had knee surgery delivery in my senior apartment was great they followed instructions leave in front of my Apt door 5th floor they did. I order at 12 noon didn't know where groceries were until 5,pm they left them in the lobby I cancelled my account told seniors in my building I'll never never ever place a order from Safeway again they took pictures I layer saw in lobby

Uncomfortable, the carts are very small and there is little access to parking so if you carry a lot of things you have to carry them to your car.

Don’t come here with kids. There are no carts you can put a child in securely, only those mini carts. I cannot imagine the liability they’re ok with doing this.

Still smiling! Had actually forgotten about this Safeway. It is a lot smaller than most of their locations, but I like this. Old Town Alexandria is a tight area. This grocery store might not have what larger ones do, but I find it convenient when fishing the Potomac close by. I do think this is a nice one. Was happy to get some shrimp for bait. Also the Caesar salad was quite tasty! You'll find this store clean and organized. Safeway can't compete price wise with Aldi, Lidl, or Wegmans. Yet at this location, I did appreciate the very good customer service. I'll be back as soon as the weather warms up. If in the area this is a decent grocery store.

Waney and Milton were SO helpful while i was fulfilling a DoorDash order. I had at least 100 items, and they helped me sort them, push carts, and load my car. They are incredible!!!

Food, service and ambience is a no for me! They need to use lettuce that's not shredded in their sandwiches! They should hire me for the deli! We could tweak it a notch higher!
