The Safeway is actually fine, but people always leave their carts in the middle of the parking lot instead of walking their lazy asses 10 feet down the lot and this is why I hate living here.

My wife called ahead to make sure the seafood section was open for steamed shrimp. She was told it would be open until 6pm. When I went to the seafood section I was told by “Adam” that the seafood bar had closed at 5pm. I then found the manager “Tasha” who was the one my wife called and she walked back to the seafood section with me. “Adam” then stated something completely different than he told me. Specifically he stated to “Tasha” that the seafood guy had been on vacation for days.
1. How is it that a manager would not know what was open in the store?
2. Why did Adam tell me one lie and then tell the manager something different?
3. Why did you not have the correct staff on hand?
In summary I would not recommend the Engleside Safeway to anyone! They used to be a really great store, it’s very disappointing that Safeway is allowing their store to be so poorly managed.

The pharmacy NEVER has my medication in on time. I call it 2 -4 days early in just to give them a heads up so they can order it, but it's the same result every single time. On the day and time they say it's ready it's not in and they have to order it. This is medication that I can't have breaks in. They disappoint EVERY SINGLE TIME, and they are rude about it.

Not much you can do about the price of groceries, but they do have some good deals. Some of the employees need to put on their happy face. Not friendly. You are dealing with the public. If you hate your job, then quit.
