Over two weeks after my initial visit I went to Truist again to complete closing my deceased wife's account. This involved signing more forms, providing ID (again) and even my SS #. Then I waited and waited. Their 'system' wasn't working. I had waited over 60 minutes before I got my ID's back and the cashier's check. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. On top of that, the banker insulted me twice: First he insisted on calling me by my first name, than he interrupted me.

My husband got a new Truist debit card. I did not get mine and was concerned because my debit card had expired and a new debit card was not sent to me. I called Truist to ask why I did not receive a new debit card. He told me I was not supposed to get one. Why not, I asked. He told me to use my old debit card. It's expired and will not give me any money. He told me I could visit one of their branch locations anytime. I told him I was a senior disabled woman and was not able to get there on my own. He kept telling me that I could visit any of the branch locations any time. I said I cannot do that and just needed a debit card. What horrible service!

Apparently, bank has stopped accepting coins to deposit (daughter's piggy bank). They only do it for commercial accounts. I have EIGHT personal accounts with them, probably more than 80% of their commercial clients, and they won't do it? Teller had to check on phone with her manager (why weren't they in office?) and was told that since the merger with Truist they don't do it any more. Then I say this merger SUCKS and I will be taking my business elsewhere!! Poor excuses for poor customer service!!! Disgraceful!!

While I can give more than one star for no wait, the customer service is nonexistent . I have never walked into ant bank and not be acknowledged and or thanked after depositing into my business acct. Manager, please take heed and offer customer service training

Extremely rude branch manager, I was just wanting to accomplish a simple check deposit and show paper trail but (Sabrina Iglesias) who happened to obnoxiously jump in and started yelling and screaming for absolutely no reason. Terrible experience, I am absolutely surprised that she is a branch manager who knows "0" about customer service.

Wish there ll be 0 stars available ..most horrible bank ever!!!!! Ever!!!!!! Spend about whole day on the phone with them to find out that they closed it and holding my money with no possibility for me to take them back ..such a wasted time and energy...

One of the worst experiences with suntrust bank. Kept charging me with hidden fees and overdraft fees even though I went more than one time to fix the problem. I ended up paying so much fees for nothing. Rather choose Capital One.

If I could give zero stars I would. I wasted an afternoon setting up an auto payment at this branch but they never actually set it up! I have spent hours on the phone only to find out they messed up. I do not have an account with sun trust. I bank with Burke and Herbert. I do not recommend this branch or the loan people at this bank.
