I’ve been a longtime Talbots customer, but I wanted to give a special shoutout to the Alexandria location and staff in recent months! I’ve always had great customer service here, but the manager and team have been extra helpful especially when I’m in a timely pinch…helping to pull what I need, look for the sizes, offer alternatives, steam an outfit, etc. Thank you for going above and beyond! I’ll always keep coming back.

I went to Talbots with my Mom this past weekend, and it was an excellent experience for her. She found everything that she needed and was impressed with the selection available at the store. The crisp colors, diverse clothing shapes, and variety made it all worthwhile. Erin helped us, and she went above and beyond to set up a fitting room for my Mom. Thank you so much. Five Stars, and I recommend it to all who visit the area.

I went to Talbots today to return a $60 dress purchased online. I saw a couple of things that I liked totaling about $150. I had recently received a coupon in the mail for $20 off a purchase, but it expired before I could use it. I asked the clerk if I might have that $20 off the $150. She said no. The coupon had a limited time use. I get that. But she’s in a store at 11:30 am with nary a customer but me. Does that really make sense to let $130 walk out the door when retail in-store shopping is down for the count? My first high school job was in retail, and I know my old boss would have said make the sale.

Great staff, very helpful. Store has four entrances but only one secret entrance where you can get in ( but they have a doorman).
Great selection and one on one sales staff make this an easy choice.

The customer service is wonderful at this store but I do not like that they have changed locations for the petite and plus sections. This was always my favorite and "go-to" store but now I find that the petite section is much smaller and there is not as much selection as before. They seem to be focusing on larger women's sizes and that may be because there are so many larger people these days.

Large showroom, plenty of merchandise, great sales. Most importantly....the sales staff is welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. The parking garage is adjacent with direct access to the store.

Fine experience although usually busy sales staff. Like everywhere, there are times when the staff can help a lot and times when they are busier. always pleasant. even when I had to take a call outside, they just held my return and handled it well. I am careful with my receipts though.
