Homeless constantly sleep in the lobby and drug residue left openly and smells of pee. Alexandria Police or Post Office won't do anything about it.

The women that works at this location is racist, she denied to print my QR code because "the package was too small", I asked for the policy that stablishes that " If a package is small, they can't be print the pre-paid label" but she said she couldn't provide me any document that stablishes that. I went to another USPS and they printed without problem. She was extremely rude and told me I had to leave because her lunch break was coming up, I was treated so poorly due my race.

I have been to this post office twice in the the last two weeks and both times I had a very positive customer experience. The line moved quickly, I was greeted with a friendly smile and the transaction was very easy all around.

Does anyone who delivers mail in Alexandria, VA know what they are doing? We have complained so many times and it’s like they discover something new to mess up every time. We had a very important piece of mail coming today and found out that they just “couldn’t deliver it”. They didn’t ring our apartment, call us or anything. They never even tried. Now the office is closed, not that it would help since they are the most unhelpful t in this city. Nobody ever answers the phone! How can we get our mail through fedex or literally ANYTHING ELSE

Incredibly helpful staff. She let us pack our package three times to save us around 30$, we really appreciated her patience and effort.

The lady behind the counter only took cash for postage. She explained there was a national electronic system failure. That was quite concerning to hear. I found zero evidence to support her claim so far in the news. A horrifying experience on my first visit to the local post office.

This office closed 1:30 to 2:30 weekdays for a lunch break. What’s even worse is that it doesn’t open at 230. There’s a line here at 235 and no life here.

The return address is not required on postal mail. However, lack of a return address prevents the postal service from being able to return the item if it proves undeliverable; such as from damage, postage due, or invalid destination. Such mail may otherwise become dead letter mail. This lady here stood there yelling at me arguing to use a return adresss..
