They don’t scan items on purpose so that way you don’t have any proof of drop off in case of lost/stolen/damaged item and you can’t claim their insurance (which is included in the price of the prepaid label). I scanned a box with prepaid label for priority mail at the Self-Service Kiosk, and dropped it in their after hours bin inside the post office. The customer already indicated that they received the item a week later but the tracking still says “USPS expects your item for mailing”. This means that they never scanned the item, nor when they picked it up, not even during delivery, and therefore I cannot receive my payment, not to mention I didn’t know what happened with this package for a week. If it wasn’t a nice customer they could say they never received the item and I would have no way to request payment from the customer, nor be able to file insurance claim for lost item from the post office. This happened so many times so it’s not one time mistake but purposeful fraudulent practice. Scanning at the self-service kiosk doesn’t count as proof that you dropped in the item, and obviously many people can’t come during their regular hours to drop it inside as the post office hours matches with most people work hours. Never use this post office if you care about the item you send. I never had this issue with the post office on Baylis Crossing, and this is where I will go in future even if it’s a longer trip to there.

This post office is usually busy, but Ms. Anandi is amazing! She is always so friendly and knowledgeable, makes the wait a little more tolerable.

Extremely slow service and severely unmanned. I'd go to the Franconia Office if you needed to send packages. Wait lines here usually range from 15-45 minutes just to send a parcel.

The USPS customer service agent did a great job being fast efficient and knowledgeable about USPS money orders and how to cash them.

I'm giving it three stars because on the one hand, my favorite agent there is a South Asian woman who is super friendly and even remembers to ask about my great niece. She is always extremely courteous and helpful. Definitely 5 stars. On the other hand, I have to agree with many other reviewers about Ali, the surly agent who clearly hates his job. Every time I'm in line I just pray I'll get her and not him. Definitely 0-1 star. But what prompts me to write tonight is that just today I received EIGHT pieces of mail, all with yellow "UNABLE TO FORWARD" stickers on them, along with the rest of my mail. So many questions: 1) How did I receive these pieces if they were pulled out of delivery for attempted forwarding? 2) Why were these pieces pulled out of delivery in the first place?? 3) Some pieces were postmarked three weeks ago. What put them back on the truck for delivery? I was so irritated I called. Thank goodness someone answered, but he had no idea what had happened. He asked me if I'd submitted a change of address. WHY would I do that when I still live here?!? And where exactly were they going to forward them to, if I never submitted a change of address??! He said sometimes mail just accidentally gets dumped in the wrong place for forwarding. OK, I can see one or two envelopes getting stuck with something else...but EIGHT pieces? SMH

Poor customer service! There is ALWAYS a long, slow line at this location and the employees don't make any effort to speed things along. I shipped a package to my granddaughter and put a special marking on the back of the envelope that was a just for her. The male worker asked me what it meant and I didn't answer. (It was none of his business.) Well needless to say, my package was "missing" for almost a month and then when it was finally delivered, the package was ripped open and the contents were missing. At this point I'll drive 20 miles out of the way just to go to a different post office!! DON'T GO HERE!!

Really rude customer service, she kept pushing me to complete my order even though she had spent a long time helping someone who looked more like herself. She seemed to really dislike her manager and told us about how impatient he was with the staff. If you go here, make sure to use certified mail, they have a tendency of "losing" packages and mail.

One of the worsts post offices you can visit. The man who sits on the left side, his name is Ali. This man is so rude and very not friendly. He always has a horrible attitude like he hates his job, this is a customer service job and he needs to chill and be a bit more friendly with people, making a bad face with a bad attitude and very poor customer service will not make your day better. I visited the place at 1:20 pm which is not even the end of the day. I had an expensive big glass item with fragile stickers all over the box and he just threw it hard in the box behind him without caring about it. He did not even do anything since I had the label already on the box. He asked me first to put it in the box on the other side myself, and I told him I need you to scan it and I need a receipt with the tracking number. BTW, this is not the first time I had a very bad experience with this man.I hope someone from the USPS management can send him to a customer service training course so he can learn to be friendly with people because he really needs that so much.PS: The ladies who work there are super friendly and very nice. I always try to avoid him when the ladies are working but today he was by himself there.

I must say surprising to read bad review of personnel. Have been going to this PO for 10 years now. The mood is ALWAYS FRIENDLY and efficient. The staff all bend over backwards to be helpful. They understand you want to mail and leave, so they move everyone along as fast but as nicely as possible. And that is despite the fact there are many 2nd language learners with different accents who are trying hard to say the right thing. They listen. They are knowledgeable and respectful. At Christmas season, they set out everything to help you pack. It’s like a party then. Really.I am very thankful for this wonderful post office!

Has great potential, but also has a lot of issues. Every time I've been here, there is a long line so I use the self-service station. Unfortunately, the drop-off barrel is jammed 70% of the time. Even during open hours which doesn't make sense. So sometimes I have to make 2-3 trips to drop off one thing.
