Waiting time was minimal, customer service was excellent and the optometrist was superb. She explained everything thoroughly and was extremely knowledgeable.

Resheedah and Dr. Joanne Nguyen were fantastic. They worked with me to find athletic safety glasses that fit well and would accommodate transition and progressive lenses with a prism. They are patient and offer great customer service.

My recent appointment at Visionworks was a very pleasant experience. The associates were very friendly and helpful. Ms . Resheedah was very helpful as was the other associate and the doctor. I definitely recommend Visionworks for your visual needs and any other services they provide.

Doctors are great but staff are horrible with an unwillingness to help the customer. We have been waiting for our contacts samples and it’s been 2 months and counting
Addendum: 6 months and counting. Apparently samples weren’t even ordered. Staff still extremely rude.

The thing that once diffentiated Lensecrafters was the ability to get grasses same day regardless of type. That’s gone now so you’re not special anymore as most other eyewear places have done away with their labs. I can go anywhere since I have to wait 10 days for glasses. Glad it wasn’t an emergency ‼️

Vision Works in Alexandria VA is the worse location by far. Ericka is super unprofessional and its beyond me how she even works in customer service. Denied to use my insurance on my contacts and even had me call my insurance myself because she couldn't bother to do it. After everything, she still charged me full price for my contacts making me think I was using my insurance. I asked repeatedly if she was using my insurance and she said yes. To lower the price she had switched my order from a 12 month supply to a 6 month supply to make it seem like the price was lower with the supposed insurance added. I ended up paying $210 out of pocket for a 6 month supply because she couldn't bother to add my insurance. I even provided them with the authorization code she was demanding and still didn't apply my insurance.
I went to another location in San Antonio, and the manager there, Jennifer, was able to help me realize that my insurance was indeed not applied and helped me by contacting my insurance herself and calling the Alexandria VA location to try and get my money back. Again she was also given rude feedback and claimed that I told her I couldn't afford the 12 month supply thats why I had ordered the 6th month..... ALL LIES!!! SHE STILL DENIED NOT USING MY INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH ITS ON THE RECORD THAT SHE WAS GIVEN ACCESS.
My health is my top priority and I always get a annual supply to avoid having an delays in having contacts on demand. Ericka is the worst person ever and I had to call the Vision Works in Alexandria VA 3 times to even put this order in. A week later im talking to someone else from that area about this place and they tell me they went through the same situation with them not applying the insurance and making them pay full price. Besides the doctor at this location is super nice and sweet but all the staff here are super unhelpful and so rude. All they do is sit around and talk smack about each other and gossip, then give you huge attitude for simply wanting to check out for your visit. I would never go back to this place ever again. this place used to be good but not anymore.

Disappointing Experience with Visionworks Customer Service
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent customer service I received at your establishment. On 04/09/2024, I placed an order for a pair of Ray-Ban eyeglasses, which I paid for out of pocket to the sum of $292. The order included progressive lenses with transition technology.
After waiting for more than 12 days for my order to be fulfilled, I went to pick it up only to discover that the eyeglasses did not include the transition feature and did not shade at all. When I brought this to the attention of the customer service representative, Rashida, she not only failed to take responsibility but also attempted to deceive me with false information.
Despite the fact that I was assured by your staff on two separate occasions that the eyeglasses would indeed include transition lenses and provide shading, Rashida claimed that it was not her responsibility as she was not the one who took the initial order. Furthermore, she stated that she couldn't recall any specific customer interactions due to the high volume of customers, while another customer service representative, Erica, not only remembered my name but also recalled details of my order.
Given Rashida's lack of accountability and customer service skills, I believe she could benefit from learning from Erica or receiving intensive training in customer service practices.
As a result of this unacceptable level of service and the lack of accountability displayed by your staff, I have chosen to return the eyeglasses and will not be returning to Visionworks for any future optometry needs.
I sincerely hope that you will address these issues within your organization to prevent other customers from experiencing similar frustrations in the future.
