I wanted to get a COVID-19 booster, specifically Pfizer. I used the Walgreens site to find a pharmacy nearby that had the booster. After scheduling, I was offered a chance to pre-fill out paperwork and save time. I did so. When I went to my appointment, the pharmacist took all my info, to include insurance, then had me fill out the same paperwork I already completed online. Once done, I was informed they never carry the Pfizer brand and offered me Moderna. So I ended up wasting an hour (drive time included) and not getting boosted.Walgreens should fix their scheduler, filterer, and paperwork issues.

Really weird interaction customer service wise today. The team member I was dealing with was super rude and the assistant manager just seemed to not willing to listen to my concerns. Think I’ll be going back to CVS.

Okay. It's on me for still going here. Really bad experience with a team member and a worse one with the assistant manager. Just not willing to listen. Got to switch back to CVS. It's a bummer cause Walgreens is generally a good experience everywhere but here.

Two days in a row - my prescription was wrong. Unprofessional. Frustrating. #dobetter #walgreensMake it three days!! 1st time - it will be ready by 7pm. Nope. 2nd time (next day). Not ready but will be in 20 minutes. I asked so it will be ready tomorrow? I was assured it would be ready in 20 minutes. Day 3 (next day) Your prescription is not ready. Give us 20 minutes.

Mt. Vernon Ave, Alexandria, Va... The pharmacy is filled with disorganized staff. They spend more down time than actually working. The wait time for service is ridiculous. Corporate needs to pay a visit. Very disappointed

I was racial profiled at this location recently. I have never experienced this at a store before (at least not to my knowledge), so I was in shock that this happen to me at this day and age, as a female minority. I happen to drop off my car at a nearby auto shop for inspections and thought walking around the area would help kill some time. I leisurely walked around the seasonal decor aisle and then noticed that every time I went to a different aisle a young African-American female associate kept walking in front of me at every aisle I went to (the amount of times she did this made it more obvious what was happening and downright obnoxious). Then I saw a middle-aged white male supervisor/manager at the end of every aisle I was in. For instance, I was looking at hand soaps to purchase to pass some time while waiting to pick up my car and he would not stop watching me until I left that particular aisle. It was very odd and uncomfortable. I was very close to confronting them politely and asking if there was a problem, but by the end I just decided to leave instead. I felt like I was being followed and I didn't know why. I don't plan on visiting this store again. It's unfortunate because it is a cleaner and larger Walgreens than most in the area. If I had the proper contact, I would report the management of this store.

I called and then later visited this Walgreens recently for the very 1st Time in August of 2023. After I had a Terrible Experience at a Walgreens in Clinton. Anyway, my 1st impressions via telephone were good, and even though I had a problem at first convincing Pharmacy Staff that I had used Express Pay to Pay for my order In Advance, a staff member was finally able to confirm that I had already paid for my Order. Not sure why that part does not show up in their computers and Walgreens really needs to fix that and stop calling Express Pay, Express Pay because Nothing about the issue I had at the pharmacy was Express.****There Is No Drive-Thru At This Location and the parking lot can be a little spooky even during the Day with strangers using it to just hang out so to speak, so a little Security /Security Patrols would help****?☯️☮️ ? ?? ?????

Have always had great experiences at the Walgreens pharmacies I've used. Not sure what's happening at this location, but I'll be going to CVS in the future.

This pharmacist is the most incompetent person I’ve dealt with, and it’s happened four times. Something is wrong with me for thinking they would change. One example is waiting for me to call or come into the store in person to say there is an issue with the script and then asking if I’d like them to call the doctor or tell me I can. Why?!?!? Why would you not call them first? I don’t know anything about the issues. It’s a technical issue between the pharmacist and physician (not the patient/customer). If insurance says there is an issue, they won’t call them to figure out an alternative generic version; they wait for you to contact them. It’s so bad at this place. The last example, this last time, they said they would transfer it to a Walgreens near me that had the meds. A week later, I learned they sent it to a CVS and couldn’t tell me which one. It took half a day to find the phone number. Every issue is the other pharmacist's fault, they say (even though there are only two). Too bad there aren’t negative stars. I need blood pressure pills now because of these guys - but I wouldn’t dare fill it here. Maybe I should contact corporate.

I hope no one has to deal with the guy working the photo counter that I had to deal with around 4 pm on June 10th, 2023. He got upset that I forgot to say "photo pickup" instead of just pickup. I thought it was implied since I was at the photo counter. "Well don't you think you should have said that in the first place?" I just laughed a little because I thought he was joking, but I quickly realized he was giving me attitude. The entire time I was paying, I could feel his temper getting worse and worse. I said nothing. He handed me my photo and locked eyes with me, like he was going to continue berating me. The tension was so bad that I asked him if he was okay. He asked me if I wanted to "take this outside." I told him to drop the attitude and walked away. This was completely unwarranted and made those around him, including myself, feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Judging by all the past reviews on here, this location should consider better customer service training or hiring methods. Do better, Walgreens.

This review is for the pharmacy only - they have twice shorted my medication. They recently were out of a medicine I take monthly - it happens. When I asked them to see if any other Walgreens in the area had it in stock they refused. I have since switched to Harris Teeter where the pharmacist is extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get my prescriptions transferred.

Poor communication for photo department. I placed an order a few days ago for a magnet photo (which btw was bad quality!! We all somehow looked super orange??) and I did not receive an email when it was finished. Then I placed a normal single photo and did not get a notification so I went in the store and was told they were out of paper and that someone should have called me. Yes.. you are right .. you should have notified me lol. I will plan to stick to CVS for photo department.

Slow, poor customer service, understaffed - this pharmacy makes TSA look efficient - send your prescriptions to the CVS down the street!
