This pharmacist is the most incompetent person I’ve dealt with, and it’s happened four times. Something is wrong with me for thinking they would change. One example is waiting for me to call or come into the store in person to say there is an issue with the script and then asking if I’d like them to call the doctor or tell me I can. Why?!?!? Why would you not call them first? I don’t know anything about the issues. It’s a technical issue between the pharmacist and physician (not the patient/customer). If insurance says there is an issue, they won’t call them to figure out an alternative generic version; they wait for you to contact them. It’s so bad at this place. The last example, this last time, they said they would transfer it to a Walgreens near me that had the meds. A week later, I learned they sent it to a CVS and couldn’t tell me which one. It took half a day to find the phone number. Every issue is the other pharmacist's fault, they say (even though there are only two). Too bad there aren’t negative stars. I need blood pressure pills now because of these guys - but I wouldn’t dare fill it here. Maybe I should contact corporate.

Poor communication for photo department. I placed an order a few days ago for a magnet photo (which btw was bad quality!! We all somehow looked super orange??) and I did not receive an email when it was finished. Then I placed a normal single photo and did not get a notification so I went in the store and was told they were out of paper and that someone should have called me. Yes.. you are right .. you should have notified me lol. I will plan to stick to CVS for photo department.

Slow, poor customer service, understaffed - this pharmacy makes TSA look efficient - send your prescriptions to the CVS down the street!

This location is severely understaffed and in need of training. Employees do not create a welcoming atmosphere at all but they need better direction from their supervisors. Great location but horrible execution inside

Pharmacist put me on hold for over 40 minutes while "checking on medicine availability". Avoid this pharmacy unless you're desparate.

On the app it says your script is ready but when you get here they tell you they need time to fill the script. Horrible customer service. There is also a employee thats walking around talking on the phone i can hear both sides of the conversation. Very loud and unprofessional.

The utmost worst and slowest Walgreens pharmacy in the area. Needs new leadership. The pharmacist takes several breaks throughout the day and fails to fill prescriptions on time. Front desk is slow and incompetent

My partner and I both have our scripts filled at this pharmacy and will be leaving after two back to back negative experiences. They've always been eh, but it's a solid nose dive over the past couple of months.Experience 1: I showed up in the middle of the day, the pharmacy tech said it was not ready yet and that I could wait, that it would be 15 minutes. I watched her tell the pharmacist about my script and that I was waiting. The pharmacist called out two other scripts while I was waiting. After 30 minutes, I went to follow up. The pharmacist had left for his lunch without filling my script, despite being told I was waiting.Experience 2: My partner went to pick up a script. It wasn't ready (it was sent to them on Friday, it is a Tuesday evening - I've stopped asking them to fill this script on Fridays because they've said they're out more than once and told me to come back on Mondays). So he waited 30 minutes only to discover when he went up to check on things that it was... sitting right there.Yea. Done with Walgreens as a pharmacy.

I scheduled a COVID booster at this pharmacy less than a week ago. I showed up and they told me they had run out earlier in the week and they never bothered following up with me or rescheduling my appointment. A waste of a day off work.

This was my 2nd time coming to this Walgreens location within the last month and today will be the last. Like other recent reviewers I have found the staff to be very unprofessional and even just rude. In regards to the pharmacy I didn't have any major issues I wouldn't say they are super friendly but the service is better than at the front of the store. Maybe it's time this location consider hiring associates who understand that being friendly and helpful is part of the job if it's to hard for someone to do this then the customer service industry isn't for you.

Stood in a long line when there were three people watching. After I finished paying I asked for a bag and was told it was 5 cents I replied that all I had was a card which I had just used to pay. I was scolded over the fact that the state of Virginia charges for bags and I need to tell them I want one. Why didn’t they ask me if I wanted a bag before checking me out? Severe attitude! And what is the point of wearing a mask around your chin which all of them were doing. The PCS announcement was to be kind because everyone is stressed. I think they should Be giving that announcement to their employees. Such a turn off.

Pharmacy is a nightmare. They never have your medications on time, you have to constantly call and check if they are ready, they lose prescriptions that dr’s send in, you are always put on hold and sometimes they just hang up. One of the pharmacist, guy with shaved head, can be very helpful, but I don’t see him there often. Everyone else they need to replace.

The old man at the counter is so nice professional and polite every time I go there. They really try to help you as much as they can - Al of the staff are amazing, the place is always kept very clean and neat. I love this Walgreens!
