ordered 99 boxes of Christmas lights. They suppsoedly attempted delivery once, but we were home and there was no knock no ring of the bell. Called and was told definitely will be re-delived same day. Nothing there . next day get email your order cancelled, it will take up to 10 days to refund your $300order online from this business at your own risk!!!!!!

Typical Walmart. Dirty, long lines, poor service, and a packed parking lot. Checkout lady was popping gum and texting while the line was 8 people deep. Hey it's cheap though.

This place is convenient if you live nearby; however, avoid peak hours. If you visit from 6am to 11am the experience is completely different than peak times. Anytime after 4pm this place becomes a zoo without any keepers and you will easily get trampled. There's not much room to move carts around either and people are all over one another. Most of the staff is at self-checkout making sure folks don't steal. Print your receipt! Parking is very inconvenient too and there is hardly ever any close parking.

The parking here is terrible. It is definitely insufficient for the crowds. The store is clean but I picked up two items that were expired. The prices seem high. I spent $270 and no register had any large bags. There is no staff available to assist. The Walmart in Kingstowne seems a lot better.

I wanted to make this a 1 star review. Went in to buy and exchange an empty propane tank. I went to 3 different registers and nobody knew how to ring me up until I told her to ask their coworker who was having a casual conversation next to them. I want to stress that they ALL looked at me like I was bothering them. Finally the last lady rung me up and told me to look for someone who can open it for me. I asked around and nobody seemed to have an answer for me. Finally a lady appeared with a key and I was able to exchange my empty propane tank... with another EMPTY propane tank. I didn't know this since I was making this trip for my mom. My mom told me to go back and get a full one. I wanted to get angry with the lady who gave me the empty propane tank and sent me on my merry way. (I'm aware this would make me a Karen, and this looks like a Karen post but it's not.) When I got back to this location I was looking for the lady and was nowhere to be found.Thankfully Mohammad helped me resolve this issue. Even with a limp, he gracefully helped me with no problem. He made my problem his problem, and empathized with me. He went to customer service to verify who has the key. They told him who had it and we walked across the store to find the original lady. He took the key from her, we walked outside, picked a full tank, and even put it inside my car. He's the only reason I'm not making this a 1 star post. Please give that man a raise.

I would have given this Wal Mart a five, but two times now I have bought eggs and when I got home two of them were broke. This happened when the cashier squeezed the two eggs at the end to put in the bag.Please be more careful when putting the eggs in the bag. I check my eggs when I get them out the refrigerator and they were fine. When you check your eggs after you pay. Pick up the eggs at the end. The cracks are usually at the bottom.

The wait time for curbside is ridiculous and no one answers the phone for pickup. I waited 45 minutes for my items with a fussy baby and the flu! I had to keep getting out of the car with the baby to talk to staff. One lady said she had been waiting for an hour! When they finally brought my groceries, one of my items were missing and I had to take baby out the car, yet again, to talk to someone. One associate claimed its probably the item they cancelled, I assured him that it was not and showed the items from my app. He still insisted. Another associate came to the rescue and ran and got the item. The whole experience was awful and I'll never do pickup at the Alexandria Supercenter. My Walmart, Clinton never made me wait and that says a lot.

Be extremely cautious using their self-checkout system. It will ask you whether or not you want a printed receipt. ALWAYS GET A PRINTED RECEIPT. Walmart has a track record of accusing people who mistakenly forget to scan an item, or for whom the system did not register an item, of theft. If you do not have a printed receipt, you will have no way of defending yourself. ALWAYS COMPARE THE ITEMS TO WHAT IS LISTED ON THE RECEIPT BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR. You guys have no career for residents to live next door. y'all really got people out over night with a jack hammer keep us upall night. why would you do remodeling work like that after hours. inconsiderate company this has been going on for a month now when will it end so we can get some slee before work in the morning.

They just made me leave most of my cart to check out? 20 items or less in self check out. Two fully packed lines for full check out. They're not putting away all the frozen and cold stuff I had to leave in a cart at the front. I'm sure it'll go bad and then they'll put it back when it's rotten. Not sure id trust their stuff after all that.

One of my delivery orders from this store was never delivered; it was cancelled without explanation. Pickup order staff rude, and make you wait a long time for your order, again with no explanation or apology. Many ordered items not included in pickup and delivery. Substitutions for unavailable items not great. Nobody answers the phone when you call this store directly. Only good thing about this store is low prices. Better to order non perishable groceries directly from the Walmart website and skip making grocery orders from this supercenter.

This review is for Walmart's online order & delivery services. I used the express delivery option when I ordered my groceries. After 2 1/2hrs, my groceries were still not delivered so I called customer service & they refunded the express delivery charge. 3hrs after that phone call, I called again to ask where my groceries were & I was informed that they couldn't see my order in their system & that they had a computer glitch earlier that day. Shortly after, my order was cancelled. This was my first time using the app & I am not I'm extremely disappointment. Amex charge $100.37 needed to be refunded I used the app for the first time ever. I ordered my groceries with the express delivery option on October 14th, 2021. After 2 1/2 hrs, the status of my groceries was "delayed" so I called customer service and they refunded the express delivery charge. Three hours after that phone call, I tried calling the third party number several times but it kept going to voicemail and no one was calling me back. So I called my local Walmart and the lady was able to connect me with one of the third party representatives. I asked where my groceries were and I was informed that they could not find my order in the system and would be given a callback. I received an email notifying me that my order was canceled even before the callback. When I told the lady about the charge on my card, she said it would take 5-7 business for them to issue me a refund. I had no choice but to contact my credit card service and dispute the charge which was done immediately. There was no way I was going to wait 5-7 business days for that charge to show up on my monthly statement. Once again, this was my first time using the app and I am extremely disappointed. I understand that glitches happened and they were probably busy with orders that were in their system but I cannot accept the fact that the third party's phone number (703-479-5524) always went straight to voicemail and no one called me back after I left several voicemails in the span of 2 hours. I used Instacart the following day and I am happy with they services. Also do your research and read the reviews please. Another issue was that I apparently was sharing account with someone I have never met, in a different state even though the account I set up was in my name but had the other's history including name, card, address and order history. I'm not sure how that happened but I was never given an explanation.

I gave this Walmart a try today for groceries, but the frozen food section was largely barren shelves. Has the Great Depression II started? I realize there are container ship problems but how on earth can the management allow inadequate stock on the shelves. Every empty shelf is company profit lost. There is technology to monitor inventory you know. This Walmart is an older one in a strip mall section of town, but walkable to Metro.
