No black hair care products. Won't be returning. Would be nice to see more products because we do frequent this location.

We are longtime Express Lane customers at this HT. For years, our weekly order has included 5 gallons of nonfat HT milk. We stopped buying milk from this HT after months of gallon after gallon going bad near or before its sell-by date. (Milk should remain fresh ~1 week past its sell-by date.) We made multiple calls to no avail. HT said no one else raised any complaints. They said they would try to identify the issue. They offered us store credit. But the milk kept going bad. Today, the Express Lane team put three separate packages of moldy ravioli in our order. (See photo. Maybe check the refrigeration over there?) I can see missing the middle one. But the other two? Or all three?HT's Express Lane service is super-convenient. But not if we have to make separate trips to another store for milk. Or a return trip to HT because all the ravioli has mold on it.

HT Foxchase used to be a great grocery store, but they now NEVER HAVE ENOUGH CASHIERS AND CHECK OUT LINES ARE BACKED UP ALL THE WAY UP THE AISLES. also items are frequently out of stock, and you can count on advertised specials NOT being available. until they hire enough cashiers I have been going to other grocery stores, including the Aldi across the street which has produce prices often half of what the Harris Teeter charges.

Very limited food selections, hefty prices and NO Customer Service. As a disabled senior citizen in need of assistance, I tried to express my needs and concerns with CS. The woman kept looking down, filling out forms. She had no interest in me or my comments. Very RUDE! It's not the first time I've experienced such incompetence and disregard for the customer. Want apples, milk or non-Starbucks coffee, or someone to assist you? Go elsewhere. This store is NOT USER/CONSUMER FRIENDLY!

I have been shopping at this location since they opened. Used to be a great place to shop, but quality and service has been declining heavily over the past few years especially the del, fish and meat departments.. I used buy a roasted chicken from there every other week until I bought a few underdone, a couple with feathers and got so grossed out I cant even look at chicken in general without gagging. Couple of weeks ago I purchased pork that was rotten and stinky.Their deli is even worse, I waited 30 mins and few days later another 15 without getting help. Management either doesn't care or isn't aware. I was told by some of the employees that they are seriously understaffed, but that is not an excuse for selling rotten products. What happened to your quality standards Harris Teeter?

Clean grocery store with great prices, if you're a member. My only "complaint" would be that their hot food bar looked a bit depressing. I wanted to pick something quick up for dinner, but the options at that time of night (6pm) were scarce, and looked a little gross.

I gave the one star for the really nice self check out attendant who had some compassion and sincerely tried to help me out. I came here to pick up WesternUnion and grab some groceries. Got to the store and customer service tells me the machines are down. I proceed to get groceries and do the Western Union another day. Well, I get to check out and discover I left my wallet at home. I go back to customer service to ask if they could try their system now because I'm kinda stranded now with no wallet. Lady turns to her manager sitting on her ass at 8pm as if their close and whispers to her. She then informs me the registers at her area are down. I asked, could you please do it another register because I'm in a bind. She then whispers again and comes back with, we can't give you money after a certain time. Wait, what?! Which story is it? The down system, the register or the no money after a certain time. What a lazy lying crew they have on this location. Ridiculous and heartless. Trash....

I come here out of convenience. For starters, it's beyond gross inside. This year alone, I saw a massive cockroach squished on the floor (thank you to whatever brave soul ran over it with the cart), a live mouse/rat sprinting across the aisle in front of me, and a fly buzzing around inside the deli meat case. Because of this, I never, ever get fresh food from here. I can't imagine how "alive" this place comes at night or in the food prep areas. To make things worse, the prices are brutal. Far higher than Giant or Safeway. Last week I bought some bread flour at HT for $6.49. It expired in just 6 months but I was desperate. The next day I was at Whole Foods and the same flour was $4.41 and had a longer expiration date. Since when is HT more expensive than Whole Fricken Foods? Sheesh! For my household, it's worth a longer drive for groceries. The Safeway on King St near Bradlee is better for everyday staples (not to mention significantly cheaper, esp if you use the Safeway app). We also like the Fresh Market right next to the safeway for produce and bakery items.

I have been shopping at this Harris Teeters for years and generally do not have any problems however today I ordered a sub online and received a text that my order was ready for pickup when I arrived I was told that my order had not been made yet after the deli associate asked me what I wanted I was told that they had run out of the ingredients and could not make my sub I asked why I received a text to pick up my order if it was not even made and they didn't have the ingredients to make my order and they could not give me an answer they completely wasted my time and if I could give them 0 stars I would THIS WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE ON HARRIS TEETERS

Bait and switch SCAM artists. Their weekly ad said they were selling shrimp for 13.99/lb, and I was charged 17.99 plus "tare weight" for a pound of shrimp for a total cost of 19.43. that is NOT 14/lb. Next, their ad for this week said SCALLOPS were available 13.99/b. When I went to the store, ALL they had was scallops for $18/lb and claimed to know NOTHING about the ad for $13/lb. I was redirected to the frozen section where frozen scallops were available for $60/2 lbs. This store is SCAMMING people with FAKE sales ads and "bait and switch" schemes. Go SOMEWHERE else please. They are CLAIMING they have stuff "on sale" that does not actually EXIST to try BAIT you into buying more expensive items once you get there. They are running a...SCAM.

I have gone to this Harris Teeter for over 10 years and had mostly pleasant experiences. I've only had a problem with an employee named Donna. On May 2, 2021, she was being particularly rude so I asked for a supervisor and she had a coworker impersonate one. On top of that she was mocking my wife's English, saying she couldn't understand her making me believe her attitude problems have been racially motivated.
