I have been a student of rising sol since it’s inception. I no longer live in Alexandria, but I make sure to stop in any time I’m back it town. It has a strong community, knowledgeable and competent teachers, and a warm atmosphere. It’s the best!

I have been a student here for several years even before the pandemic. I love all the teachers, they are so willing to help me understand the poses and to remind me to BREATHE. The variety of their classes offers something for everyone. They create a supportive community.
Rising Sol is the premiere hot yoga school located in North Old Town, Alexandria, VA. Founded as Zweet Sport Hot Yoga a decade ago, we offer classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher training.
