I called this morning, left a message and on answering machine. No text, no call. This is the second time in a row a prescription was called in and it never shows up at CVS Amherst. The last time the dr had to call in subscription again and it went through. This time it happened again and I had to call centra and tell them it didn’t show up ( it was sent at 10 something the previous morning and I gave them all day and nothing) so this morning, nothing. So hopefully centra will call it in again and maybe it will show up? It’s an NSAID topical cream for my wrist and I’m in pain! I should have changed it to Madison heights Walmart.

The store manager is super nice but the pharmacy staff is horrible. My sister has been very sick and she had talked to her doctors office. The doctors office had said that they talked to CVS but when I went to get her prescriptions they said that they didn't have any ready for her. By the time I had gotten back home from there CVS had contacted her saying that they were ready. They said that they had put her name in wrong. This isn't the first time that she has had this problem. She will be changing pharmacy. Her name is NOT a hard name. I don't understand why people have a problem with it. Also when I arrived at the pharmacy the cashier was ringing up another customer. I know that she saw me walk up. She walked away when I walked up to the register and ignored me for a few minutes. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The CVS in Amherst is always clean, well stocked, and well organized. MOST of the staff is very friendly and helpful.

TERRIBLE... EVERYTIME I HAVE TO GET A PRECRIPTION IT'S NEVER READY BECAUSE THEY NEED TO CHECK FAX MACHINE OFTEN FOR PRECRIPTIONS FROM DR.OFFICES.

I have never been more disappointed with this CVS. Normally it’s a lovely experience but when me and my sister were in the bathroom together, a staff was very very rude to our friend waiting outside saying we were taking to long. When we left the bathroom and I attempted to apologize for taking to long she immediately had a very hateful tone. I’m sorry if you’ve had a bad day but it is never okay to take it out on costumers.

I called in at 9:00 a.m. to get a prescription transferred from another pharmacy. I was told that as soon as the other pharmacy responded the prescription would be filled in 30 minutes. 2 hours later I contacted the other pharmacy and they said that they had received no request for prescription transfer. I went to the CVS pharmacy in Amherst pretending to pick up my prescription and they said that the other pharmacy hadn't responded yet. And I said, " kind of hard to fill a prescription transfer when you've never called to initiate it."
So unfortunately it seems like their default response is to blame somebody else before doing their work themselves. Another 15 minutes down the road and the Walmart pharmacy Madison Heights will save you lots of frustration.
