For those taking Vyvanse or Adderall, unfortunately they never have it in stock here, so you will either have to go without it for a while not knowing when they will get it or pick it up at a pharmacy like Hometown Pharmacy in Madison Heights .This isn't the staff's fault though. On the plus side, I've never had any problems with the staff. Everyone I've spoke to has been helpful, nice and they do all they can.Please everyone be kind and patient with the pharmacy staff! Luckily there's still nice staff working at this CVS and they deserve more appreciation. They deal with a whole lot of blame for things they don't have control over.

They can't keep my meds in stock they never have anything ready on time I wouldn't recommend using them at all drive the extra miles to another cvs that's for sure

I had a very worrisome experience concerning medications with an I’ll family member. The pharmacist was exceptionally helpful. I am very thankful for his guidance.

My sister Germaine Crites lives here and loves coming to the Amherst CVS. She says they are always helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They go out of their way to help her. Kudos to these folks willing to work in this economy.

Pharmacy is rude and incompetent. Don’t fill your prescription until you arrive to pickup and have miscounted pills resulting in inadequate medication coverage. Staff is too busy playing around with each other to do their job.

On two separate occasions I was given EXPIRED pills from the pharmacy! How was this missed during regular expiration date checks, then by the tech, then the pharmacist?

You get text messages that your prescription is ready and go there and it isn't. When you are sick you really don't feel like running back up there. They told me one day it would be ready in 30 minutes. I told her I'd be back in 3 hours. Went back and it wasn't ready. Its very frustrating. My mother in law needed her meds tonight. The doctors office sent the prescriptions over. 4 hours later and they weren't ready.

Every time l need to pick up a prescription it is never ready. Will always be 20 or 30 minutes before it is available. I have to drive 15 miles to get there from my home. Extremely frustrated with this pharmacy but nothing better close to my home.

The pharmacy is extremely slow and occasionally loses your prescriptions. They have very limited hours and are only open until 6pm on Sundays. Very understaffed.

I always find what I need here and I love the coupons!! I always get my toiletries and vitamins here because it. Not to mention, the friendly and professional service. :-) They're always there to help especially when using the print in seconds Kodak phot machine. Of course, this CVS has a pharmacy, but I am fortunate to have good health and haven't had to use, but the Pharmacist has helped me with questions about men's health vitamins and I was truly grateful. Overall, this CVS gets the A+ rating. :-) Cheers.

The pharmacy has become adversarial, condescending and rude under the leadership of the pharmacy manager, who has pathetic communication skills and has no business dealing with the public. DO NOT complain about service or you will be BANNED FROM THE PHARMACY as I have been following a conversation with the manager. BANNED from getting my medicine because I complained to the manager about the poor service, contradictory information, lack of follow up, and general lackadaisical attitude on the part of the staff. I have never encountered such persistent, frustrating indifference on the part of a supposed health care professional. I don't know how this person is in charge of a department or other people.

Worst CVS I've ever been to. I scheduled an appointment for a 2nd booster shot and just as I was leaving home for the appointment, I received and email the appointment was canceled. Rescheduled for Saturday May 14th and get there 15 minutes early only to find the pharmacy closed due to an emergency. With these emergencies happening so often, maybe they should consider closing permanently ?

I went there on Wednesday, 5/18for a covid test, was told I would get results texted to me 24 to 48 hours later, 6 days later STILL NO RESULTS....only a message that says results are PENDING and to check back later.....SERIOUSLY.......so if there was a NEGATIVE rating, that is what I would rate them.

We have come to this pharmacy to pick up prescriptions in the middle of the afternoon and the pharmacy is closed due to someone having an emergency two days in a row. Another time we called in advance to confirm store hours and was told the pharmacy closes at 9 and when we arrived at 701 pm we were refused service as the pharmacy closed at 7 pm.
