I love Schewels. It's a very pleasant buying experience. The ladies at the store are very helpful and patient. I say patient because sometimes it takes awhile to decide what I want.
I recommend shopping at Schewels for anyone who is looking to buy new furniture.

Many thanks to Angie for her excellent customer service, product knowledge, and always helping my family leave with exactly what we wanted. We visited the Amherst Schewels this past weekend and I originally went in looking at a TV that they had marked down. What I left with was a BEAUTIFUL kitchen table that I desperately needed and a gorgeous clock to gift to my mother for her birthday. Angie always treats us like family every time we come by the store and we wouldnât shop at any other location. If youâre looking for great deals with a smile go see Angie!

This was such a great experience. Angie and the team were very knowledgeable about each product we looked at and helped to get my wife exactly what she was looking for. We were also able to get the best deals around with a speedy checkout process that made shopping with our young children a breeze. We love the Amherst location!

Recently moved to Amherst and we needed a new mattress. We went there on a Saturday morning in October and were immediately greeted by several employees. They were friendly without being overbearing. We went duration to the mattresses and stayed trying them out. We found one we loved and they helped us check out and get set up for delivery. They told us it would be a week or two but to our surprise we were called on Thursday that it was in. Then they also surprised us to say that they don't have any delivery drivers so it would probably still be the next week. I don't understand why you'd call to tell us out was in but you have no way to get it to us but oh well. We had family in town on Saturday and we went and picked it up. The gentleman at the warehouse was very helpful and we had the best sleep we've had in over a year!

Bypass this location. Horrible customer service. My family and I have used Schewels for 30+ years and after this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We had to continually contact them because we were given no updates on our order. We made our purchase on 6/30/23 and we just got it today. To make matters worse, they didnât bring the necessary tools to put the furniture together. We waited almost an hour and half for them to come back to finish(we live 20 mins from Amherst). When they returned, they had someone elseâs delivery on the truck. No apologies. Nothing. So very unprofessional.

We had the pleasure of working with Ms Angie and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! It felt like talking with family and she was so knowledgeable about the products. She interacted with my mom and son so well and adored my son even through his energy!!! I made the best choice on a sofa set that was perfect for ME and my needs and that's all thanks to Angie!!!! She understood my finances as well as current stressors. She gave this therapist support in real life when needed. So thanks for being my furniture therapist Angie!!!!!
