I sent my 2 kids to this school for almost 5 years now .Unfortunately this school is getting worse and worse every year.Bad experience every event we attended , no organization so ever.Lack of communication with the teachers and staff ,most of time I received paper information past due .Sometimes I don't get replies from the teacher when I sent notes.Everytime when I have a meeting with the staff of this school at certain time they make me wait.One of my kid have special education and don't see any improvement this year .My son's special education teacher had to leave for maternity and no one bother to informed me that my kid will have a substitute but after one month I received a letter from school notifying me about it.My other kid go to 3rd grade , I been trying to reach his teachers to have a meeting with them to discuss my child grades ,I sent notes no reply,I call the teacher left message then email them finally one of the teacher replied and set the date , but she choose the date and I could take that date . Up to this date not conference date was provide me after the last one.Also my husband I were worry about the progresses of my kid when he was almost finishing 2nd grade , we noticed that he struggled learning , so I did a research on the internet and founded out the schools offer special education.Then I request a meeting with the teachers discussed the issue and they told they will review the case and they will let me know if my kid qualify for that program.I have the second meeting with the teacher and principal and other member of the school , to notified me my kid is not eligible to get that extra help, I told them I wasn't agree with that decision that my child doesn't not how to read, write, add and subtract that he way below average level and show them prove , so in that moment the principal change the previous decision and said that he will get the special education that they just need a push from the parents to make the decision .Well that how that school operate.I am not happy about this review, but in the same moment I feel so frustrated, because I tried my best to communicate with school to make my kid successful if both part help each other.I have more and more negative things about this school but I think this is enough .?

Braddock Elementary has been an amazing environment for my two children. I am very impressed with the level of involvement and resources from the staff, as well as the direction within the curriculum. BES is a wonderful school!

I went here for my first 2 years a long time ago. I can safely say it was the worse experience and I'm very glad I got to move out of the district.
