This place is a disgrace. Front Desk Manager is a sorry excuse. I went INSIDE to update my exp date on my card, she didn’t put it in correctly, then declined my card the next day and said I was never there when I called to get the $25 fee removed. Here’s the proof I was there since my husband standing right beside me at the desk was not enough to make her “remember”. Been a member for almost 11 years and I’ve put up with a lot at this sad gym because it’s convenient. But I draw the line at calling me a liar. MEMBERSHIPS CANCELLED.

I love this place.. Sadly i have to leave because management is literally letting it die slowly. All Dumbells have been damaged for over 2 years. Machines keep breaking and they are not fixing anything. Instead they increasing the membership. I’ll go to a place where the money i pay for my membership worth my workout time.

When I first started everything was fine that was 3 years ago now the equipment is run down and it seems like it won't get replaced anytime soon so I think it's time to swap gyms

Really awesome gym. Brandon at the front desk was excellent. Mirrors covering the entire gym and excellent layout.

Chock full of TVS with garbage on them. Constant news and distractions. Set a 20 people in here no one is watching the TV. We are all ignoring them together
I I've been a member here for 20 years. Anytime you talk management it just goes into a black hole. It doesn't seem that they care about customer service here.
I've asked them to turn TV off many times and just say deal with it. If this place wasn't a block from my house I ditch it in a second

I've been a gold class member here for about two months, and thankfully I have been more motivated than in the past. It works for me because they are located on my route to work, so I'm able to hop over here before work. They open at 5am which is very convenient in that regard. I rolled in this morning on this extended holiday weekend, and there was barely a soul in the gym. This isn't usually the case, but I didn't mind. I typically stick with the stair master machine and several of the chest and abdominal workout machines. My body appreciates it! Also, I've never had a wait issue, and 9 times out of 10 I'm able to hop right onto the machine that I need

Not a bad facility, but also not the prettiest. Definitely lacking in aesthetics and a number of free weights and equipment look run work but work fine. Lack of bottle filter water fountain is perplexing given it's a must at most gyms. Classes are good though.

I have been a member of Golds Annandale for the last 8 months. I work out 4-6 times per week. Frankly I think it is a great facility! The equipment is varied so whether you are a hard core or recreational lifter there is plenty of quality to go around and the equipment is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful but I find the most attractive aspect of the facility is its members. I have trained with and around members both young and old and from my point of view my fellow members give the facility a very positive “vibe”. The only downside is that the piped in music that may be very much in vogue but does nothing to motivate. In spite of that single “ wrinkle” I think of Golds Annandale as my “ happy place” as corny as that sounds. Dave M. Annandale

9 years and counting. Great place to get your pump on. Just ignore the loud grunting and weight dropping of the guys who look for approval from strangers. Nothing has changed since my last review, which is good news.

My favorite part is the sauna. However, I’ve heard that one in men’s changing room doesn’t work. This gym has great equipment. Entertaining, but demanding classes which are a great add on to your regular exercises. On most days it closes at 11pm

This gym is ATROCIOUS! The sauna has been out of service for 4 months and there seems to be no effort to fix it. Also half of the dumbbells are damaged. It's borderline neglect and corruption. It shouldn't take 4 months to fix a sauna. Unless of course they are intentionally not making an effort to fix it and lying about it because they're content with just collecting our money and not providing us with at least adequate service. They simply don't care. If it wasn't for the proximity to my house, I wouldn't go. Save your money and take it to a gym that actually cares about it's customers.
