“My son and I both needed tires on our cars. I have been working around cars all my life (roughly 40+ years). I live about 20 miles north of Charlottesville so there are plenty of options. I called 6 or so places in my area to get prices and availability. I usually act as though I don't know a whole lot to see how a business reacts. The prices were all over the spectrum as was the customer service. ? My mother lives in Appomattox and had taken her car here on the suggestion of a friend. They treated her very well and fair. ?I decided to call Webbs. I spoke with Patrick. Let me just say that he knows his product and how to explain it to you. He gave facts, suggestions, and recommendations. He never tried to upsell for the benefit of a dollar and was $22 cheaper, per tire, for the exact same tire I was quoted for in my area. (..and that was the closest pricing)I decided to go with Webbs. They ordered the tires and the lady in the office (..sorry that I forgot your name) called the next morning to let me know they arrived. We were able to drop one car off, and then the other snd we were politely notified both times, when they were ready. They worked with us and our unknown schedule like pros as we did this on the day of my fathers funeral. I sincerely appreciate this business and how they handle their customer service. You have my business from now on even if you are 100 miles away. Well worth the trip. “Appomattox Auto Works recently completed body work on my truck following a collision with a deer. The damage was significant; front bumper, left front fender, driver's side door, and left rear fender. Steve was great to work with. He provided a prompt, complete, detailed estimate to my insurance company and to me. Initial estimate to complete the job was four weeks. Availability of parts was a problem due to the UAW strike. Ten days later, yesterday, Ashley called to let me know that my truck was ready. The workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. There is no indication that my truck had been in an accident.Everyone I dealt with at Appomattox Auto Works was friendly and professional.
