A quaint little place. I got a nicer quality Virginia state flag here than the one I had, a 36 star USA flag, and my wife found a nice postcard and a magnet. Good selection of items here.

Neat gift shop. If your kids have a ranger book, you will get the coins and stickers there.

Visited a Monday morning in late May (Memorial Day weekend). It's a small store so I can imagine it being a little crazy busy on a weekend. There was a great selection of merch from NPS/Eastern national. They have passport cancellation patches, pins and hiking medallion and a bunch of other items. Lots of books and apparel as well. There were also snacks available. The two ladies working there were very friendly and super helpful in answering our questions. The Appomattox Court House National Historic Site Cancelation Stamp is also located in this bookstore. It's on the left side when entering next to the counter. I included a picture of it. Definitely worth a stop if you're visiting the park.

My partner and I were there this past weekend. I didn't know what to expect since I heard that some places were closed. We were happily surprised that there was a National Park Ranger who greeted us and explained the layout of the buildings. Disappointed McLean House and Visitor Center was closed, but the other buildings were open. We also did the drive tour of the battlefield history. If you are Civil War like my partner I am sure you will love it as much as he did.

A nice little souvenir shop to pick up memories to cap a super day touring Appomattox Court House. Among the small trinkets, you'll find books, t-shirts and sweaters and paintings among other items. Stop in while here. It's behind the Clover Hill Tavern and near the public restrooms.
