On 5/5 I ordered two phones and paid by card at the store. Changed my mind and called when I got home to cancel. I was told I had to come to the store. When I got there I was told the phones had left the warehouse and I would have to come back the next day. Next day I came in and we completed the return and I was told the refund ($209) would show up on the card in 5 to 7 days. Seven business days (9 calendar days) later I call because the refund isn’t there and find out the phones are still in the store and the refund won’t happen until the warehouse receives the phone. Customer support supervisor Stephanie says that a refund cannot be processed until the phones are at the warehouse and even the CEO can’t overide this. So I guess if a phone is lost in shipping you never get a refund??? Store messed up the return by not following up on why the phones were still in the office. US Cellular the company, (with a market cap of $5.2 billion), expects their money on the due date but could care less when they owe you money. As of today, this is 14 calendar days and still no refund. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I’m a 20+ year US Cellular customer and I will not visit this store again and I am looking at T-mobile options
