Ballston Quarter is the ultimate destination for shopping in Arlington, Virginia, located in the heart of the downtown area. It is home to the area’s best dining, shopping, and entertainment, with something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy an indoor ice rink, a movie theater, a spacious fitness gym, an escape room, and a VR adventure. The dining has vastly improved, featuring an extensive food market and dozens of restaurants with a variety of different kinds of food in the food court. It offers a pleasant and well-maintained environment and is such an upgrade from the previous mall, being more experiential than shopping-focused. However, the mall is suffering from high tenant vacancies with many vacant spots in the building. There is practically no AC in some of the shops, creating an uncomfortable environment. Despite this, it is a wonderful place to spend a day and one to visit, with the area becoming lively on weekends due to its restaurants and bars.
