I give this branch 0 stars with no question. They allowed a complete STRANGER cash a stolen check from my dads small business. They didn't even ask for that persons identification at all if they could easily allow them to cash the check which was under the employees name ! How could they not pay attention to who they were giving permission to cash a check? Do they not know how to keep anything secure ? We are at the moment "trying" to handle their mistake. Upset is an understatement.

They treated me like it wasn't my check I waited about 10 12 minutes in front of the teller her while she called and tried to figure out what was going on and at the other branches it takes about 3 minutes and I'm out.

If I could give zero stars I would! I called the bank to ask if I could get change the lady said yes then directed me to the one window that was open saying the inside of the branch was closed I proceeded to wait for over 40 minutes until it was my turn in line at that time the banker informed me that they couldn't give me any change I told the lady that I had called to double check and she just says yeah sorry I didn't know it didn't work this is extremely frustrating considering I called ahead

BB&T is the absolute worst bank I have dealt with and the staff at this location is incredible unhelpful and improperly trained. It's is almost impossible to talk to a live person when calling custom service and there is no way to email or contact anyone at customer service. Branch manager seemed completely out of place and uninvolved In resolving disputes. I will be closing my account within a month of opening it.

Normally, I have no issues but today I went in to close an account - not all of them, just one I haven't been using - and was assisted by Mr. Pereira. So, I had to put a few dollars in to make it a zero balance which was a simple transfer from one account to the next and close it. Keep in mind, this was an employee account and my mother recently left for a better opportunity so there was no reason to keep this account open as my primary is now Capital One. So, what SHOULD HAVE been done was going to the counter to take out the CASH from one account and deposit to the other so it would be immediately applied as a Misc. Credit. What he did INSTEAD was do an ONLINE transfer which is now PENDING. That means if I get charged my account fee tomorrow morning, the account will be negative again and I would have to pay it. LUCKILY, as I said, my mother worked at this bank ever since I was very young so I already knew he was wrong and I contacted Phone24 to notate the account and every action he did and I hope he gets severely reprimanded for trying to push me out of a lowball $5 monthly fee.
