Wow! The staff at Bluemercury are absolutely amazing. Every employee was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I have extremely sensitive skin with severe allergies, and they helped me find a full set of products that work perfectly. The store and service are truly five stars all the way!

I love blue mercury, but won’t be back. The male employee that works at this location was pushy and super rude. I needed 3-4 items from there: la mer, a new mascara, and foundation. He told me upfront that he leaves earlier than the other workers but is staying late just for me… then 2 minutes later asked if I was going to buy something or should he leave, then asked if I was just “pretending” to want items because I didn’t want to make him feel bad. I told him I just need more time to look and he huffed and started pressuring some other lady (clearly not the end of his shift). I left with no items. Not sure if the team earns commission, but you lost my business.

I bought a perfume as a gift, and the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice. Great selection and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Used to love the staff’s that were helping me. I spent pretty good amount of money whenever I visit. I love getting high quality skin cares and ALSO really appreciated getting a great sample items , it helped me find out few other brands that I never knew that works great for me
. I’ve been there twice since the whole staff changed and there’s always one manager that works there who’s so stingy about giving out samples and tells me they never get samples in anymore which it’s hard for me to believe. Plus she gave me bag that someone already used or returned. It just feels icky putting my new items to take home with someone’s return blue mercury bag. Probably won’t go back to that store but definitely start going to different locations.

The male sales person here is horrible! He is rude and racist and if his behaviour is not enough for you to make you feel uncomfortable, he will not shy away from saying mean things to you, YES! He will say bad things to a customer. Never have I ever come across any sales person so bad. Never stepping in this store again. The store manager was patient enough to listen to the complaint but the way that sales person behaved was abnoxious

I’ve shopped online with them before but this was my first in-store experience. Very nice polite staff especially Amani who helped me wrap a gift for a friend and even put some extra samples in there.If you’re wanting to test different perfumes before making a decision this is a good place to start. I will definitely be back.

I recently had an excellent experience at this Bluemercury location. The sales associate Sean was immensely helpful, kind, and professional and I left with one new product and a sample of another to try out to see if it works with my hair. I came into the store feeling upset about a radically disappointing haircut (and feeling silly for being upset). I left feeling reassured that I wasn't being silly but that things absolutely would be okay. Sean is an excellent representative of Bluemercury and I very much plan to shop with him again.

There is a problem with some of the sales people. I tried to get help from a male clerk today and he was so curt and abrupt and it was hard to get an answer to a simple question. I pressed and finally chose the item and left asap. Strange.

Didn’t feel welcomed. I wasn’t acknowledged until I asked to be rung up. I should have just bought my products from Bergdorfs or Saks instead. Probably will return products, vibe still doesn’t sit well with me. Not a good shopping experience.

I have been shopping at Bluemercury for almost 10 years, mainly at this location, and it’s always an awesome experience. The team is extremely helpful, gets to know you and the products you like, and is happy to provide samples and introduce you to new products if you have a specific need or concern. They give a heads up on new products coming out, upcoming sale events, and truly make an effort to cater to your skincare and beauty interests. I try to purchase most of my products from them because I know it will be a good experience and they take such great care of me - shout out to Jodi and Sean who treat me like a queen! If you’re local, Bluemercury Clarendon is such an asset to your skincare and beauty “family” and it’s so wonderful to have them as a resource.

One star for the worst service. I'm in my early 50's and I suppose I look close enough to it, though I do invest a lot in my skin and well-being. On the day I visited this store, I had just had a facial - I didn't have on a stitch of makeup, and I wasn't dressed in my sharpest. Whether that's the reason for the cold shoulder I got or not, I'll never know, because I will never go back. Not one of the employees said a single word to me, but shortly after I came in, they greeted another lady most enthusiastically. I walked around with a couple of items that I intended to buy, but no one ever said ANYTHING. Not "i'll be with you in a moment," not "can i help you find something," absolutely nothing. It's a small store; I know I was seen. But the ladies working there definitely made me feel invisible.

Was trying to shop but it was an uncomfortable experience. Im sure brown latinos are not the everyday audience, but Jodi made sure to make me feel unwelcomed. Remarking the store to not carry many fragrances despite nearly all their skin care carrying fragrance and the large array of Jo Malone, Tocca, & Nest products, im sure there were no fragrance products for me to shop for OR i just wasnt welcomed

I owe a big thanks to the staff at Bluemercury in Clarendon. I was looking for a plum/purple eye pencil, and despite my wearing (ok, I realized belatedly) my reading, blue light glasses, which changed all the colors to brown, they patiently showed me all sorts of options. I ended up buying the perfect plum pencil from a brand I was not familiar with. After so many pencils which make my eyes water and tear, this one is perfect and I’ve had no reaction. Thank you!

I hardly ever write reviews but wanted to shout out Jodi. I had been hating how my makeup looked, and wandered in last week to see if I could find new products that may help. I usually get intimidated by makeup stores like Sephora, and was a bit apprehensive. But Jodi listened to my concerns and gave me suggestions and also tested products on me in store. she never once pressured me to buy a thing but gave me options, and provided tips on how to apply different types of products to get the best results. Her picks were all amazing but I loved how she didn’t tell me I needed a 10 step routine. She managed to change my skin with 2 products and she was so spot on! She and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful and I’ve felt more happy with my skin/makeup this last week than I have in years! And I’ve even gone to dermatologists, estheticians, etc. I’ve always loved makeup and skincare, and it’s super nice to have a store where you can ask questions, try things, and not feel any judgement or pressure! Thank you Jodi!
