I was having issues with my text stream software so I purchased a code scanner, a higher priced one, however I ended up resolving my text stream issues without needing The scanner. Now they are refusing to take the return for the scanner that I no longer need and did not use. This is despite nothing being in violation of their return policy. I will never come back here again. I just have to click a button to make a return on Amazon no questions asked.

I came to Advance to buy a new battery for my Tahoe. Upon looking at the installation directions, no one wanted to install the battery (which is advertised outside of the store "FREE INSTALLATION) but insisted that I buy the battery. I WAS UPSET! They wanted me to buy a $300 battery and then install my own battery! So unprofessional and rude!!! I guess I'll go to Autozone!

Asked the clerk what tail light bulbs I'd need for my 2009 Malibu, she pointed to all of the bulbs marked 3157, including the LED bulbs. The bulb fit, and lit, but the Malibu measure the current to the bulb, so it still flashed twice as fast as its supposed to with a good bulb. The store would not exchange the bulbs because the packaging was open, so basically, they stole $30 from me for the bulbs that aren't the right ones.

Excellent customer service! The staff was extremely helpful in assisting me with my brake light bulb. The staff member came out to my car and resolved the issue at no charge!! Appreciate their exceptional service!

The clerk REFUSED to help me with a simple effortless service. I asked a young female clerk with Blue hair to assist me with a code reading. immediately said if the light wasn't on its not going to read. She was emphatic that her code reader was basic and won't read much. So I responded ok can I still check it, she said No it won't work if your light isn't on. I said my light may still be on can I check it Please she refused and told me to take it to a shop to get a better reading?? SO I LEFT that location and Drove a few miles to another Advance on 1004 Jclyde. Another young lady gave me NO hassle to use the code reader. Even though my check engine light was off it still read the code properly and the clerk looked up the code which helped me tremendously and resolved my issue. That's real customer service!!
