Called to get an auto quote because was having issues getting one online. Was lied to that someone had been working on my quote and was put on hold while they went and worked on it. As soon as the person I was speaking to on the phone realized that I would not be buying insurance through them, they became extremely hostile and rude. Seems like they only care about your money here, and this behavior appears to be a pattern based on other Google reviews. Look elsewhere for insurance.

I don’t know how these people are still in business. How can you hang up on a customer and then continue to spam them with mailers for 5 years?

We’ve had a great experience with Cascade over the past 6 years. We have a few property and auto policies through Erie Insurance with them. Everything went smoothly the few times we’ve had a claim with Erie. Their prices are competitive and service outstanding. They even picked up at 4:59, right before closing one time, ha. Whenever I call they are quick to answer any questions I have and can make personalized recommendations. They respond promptly by email if they don’t have the answer on the phone.

Marcos was extremely helpful in setting up my first insurance plan. He was responsive and worked quickly with my lender, which made closing on our place all the easier.

Friendly, prompt service. Lyndsay is always willing to answer my questions, no matter how trivial. She has recommended products thoughtfully, and steered us away from things that she felt weren’t necessary. Very happy with Lyndsay and with Erie.

I rarely review anything, but Cascade deserves a review! I've been an Erie Insurance customer for my entire driving life (about 18 years now) and had to switch agents when I moved to the DC area four years ago. My previous agent suggested Cascade as they are located close to my home. Their customer service is phenomenal! I've never had such an easy experience working with agents--even for Erie. They're available quickly by email and phone and work hard to make sure policy coverage and cost met my needs. I've been very happy with my experience with Cascade.

I chose Erie for auto insurance after reading good reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend, and chose Cascade because of their location. I have a small fleet of low-emission, fuel efficient Priuses. At first Cascade seemed to believe that I was driving for Uber or Lyft--which was ok with them--but when they came to understand that I was making these cars available through carsharing service Turo ( their attitude changed. At first, they told me they wouldn't renew the policy, though they allowed me to add additional vehicles. Finally the owner refused to add another car, making some disparaging remarks about "whatever it is that you are doing with those cars." Our economy grows on innovation. Companies like Cascade and Erie hold us back.

While I was a bit skeptical about doing business with Erie, an unknown (to me) insurance company, especially going through an independent third-party agent, my skepticism vanquished after my initial phone conversation with Jon Gartrell of a locally-run Cascade Insurance Group. He stood out among the several companies I had talked to before. He sounded friendly and sincere, he listened and explained things well. He was not pushy. On the contrary, he invited me to call him with other questions I may have later and when I did, he was not only responsive, I could tell he had done his homework in anticipating my new sets of questions. He seems like a real pro in his business: he is knowledgeable about the products, the procedures, and processes, and he is thorough in guiding me through the entire transition seamlessly from my old insurance company to Erie. Although I haven't been involved in an accident (hopefully never) to know just how good his service would be like, the way he handled my phone calls made me feel that I trust his professionalism and sincerity, without reservation, in cultivating a long-term, win-win business relationship with this customer.

I have had a great experience with Cascade Insurance Group. They are so easy to work with and made switching auto insurance really easy. They are professional yet friendly, and really take the time to understand your needs. I can't say enough great things & highly recommend Cascade.

Jon Gartrell is our agent and recommended to me by my lender. We ended up saving over $1000 on our homeowner's and auto policies and the coverage was significantly better. Communication was always responded to quickly and I have been happy with their level of service and knowledge of the industry.

I began using Cascades over 12 years ago for my first company. Over the course of a few years in dealing with them, it was always easy and hassle-free. I noticed they were different compared to my previous company mainly in the way they treated me - always happy to help. David, the main agent, keeps in touch and is always available to help - even when on vacation he responds to my texts. So over the years, one by one I ended up switching to him for my three companies, my home and cars. He never pressured me to leave the other companies, I did it on my own because of the customer service - not something you'd expect when dealing with insurance companies.
