Has everything you need and nothing you don't need. Knowledgeable long-time staff is a huge plus. And I love not having to get into the mix at Home Depot. Nothing beats a local hardware store.

If you go in knowing roughly what you're looking for they'll help you find it and if you're not sure they're good at recommending something. I dunno where people are getting the super unprofessional or why someone described an employee as "proud boys redneck" that's pretty judgemental if you ask me, which they are not. If you go into a greek restaurant asking how their bruschetta is then they'll look at you like you're an idiot. The same applies to other places too...don't go into a hardware store asking for stuff that you wouldn't find in a hardware store. If I'm unsure then I ask and they say nope or yup, I don't feel like they're judging me at all. It's a hardware store, what level of professionalism are some of these people looking for? They're also not mind readers. If you go in with a plan and an idea of what you need, they can help you. If you go in and ask for random shit and don't give them any idea of what you're trying to do? Then yeah, they'll look at you like a nutjob and rightfully so! Some of these bad reviews I feel are more on the people than the employees cause I've never had a bad experience and I've been a customer since I was a kid.

I absolutely love this store. It is so old school, makes me nastolgic. Reminds me of being in grandpa's tool shed. There are so many "Easter eggs" to be found tucked in random places. I have spent an hour just wandering around looking at things. Also their prices are super reasonable, thought they'd be more expensive being a small mom and pop place but it's on par with any other name brand store. They also have bulk grass seed in bins! So cool.

My initial experience yesterday, March 13th ‘23 was fantastic. The gentleman that helped me out was super friendly, helpful, polite.Today was a different story.March 14th, I went to return a Dremel. I did open it, and the instructions but that’s all. I didn’t use it, plug it in, open attachments or anything…After realizing it may have been an impulse buy, I decided to return.The clerk/jerk today…. Was a different story and Rather then telling me the store policy about not returning tools… the rude unhelpful different store clerk accused me of lying. Repeatedly.Had he just shown me the store policy and been even a tiny bit polite….a smidge if you will….. I wouldn’t be writing this… I wouldn’t have cared, it’s a local biz, I get it. I can handle the $70 Dremel…. But he wasn’t polite, wasn’t friendly, no greeting, nothing…. Just looked at the Dremel and said I was lying about use….. and continued to do so..Again, the guys the day before, March 13th were Class Acts, super helpful, and friendly. As you can tell, the guys today were rude enough to make me write this.

Went in there looking for a screw to find a mount for my iPhones and the guys there really went above and beyond and cut the screw to the perfect length too! Very knowledgeable and great customer service
