First things is look the rating of this branch. It’s very low because of the unprofessional behavior of the employees. I had a very bad experience with Helen. I was there to open an bussiness account. At beginning she denied to open it because I’m from another state. Then I said it’s possible in person with all the legal documents. And it’s impossible online . Then she called someone and make sure that yes it’s possible. Now she started to application-
She was very confused about the requirements and the proper process and the correct information. System asking two form of ID. And I had it. But she was arguing me that I must have a PASSPORT. Which is incorrect . Then I asked to show me where is mentioned about passport. She was unable to show it. It’s only showing two form of ID. Never ask about passport. Anyway all the time she was keep saying that “once I will be rejected then I will understand” which kinda making me scared. Ok let’s go to next step - she asking me to sign on some documents and I started read those documents and found some errors like she didn’t select the residence part/ DOB / SSN. I asked why not . She blamed to the system. And sometimes explained some incorrect information. Because she was ok with my correct information and the process. She just ignore that part to filled out because she wanted my application rejected. One most important thing is she doesn’t have the right mentality to work with customers. She is very angry and aggressive. She just behaved like very rude when her all the statements proved false. Without knowing the correct information she was making her own rules and policies. She must have my passport. Without passport CiTi can’t open accounts. Lol how I have account with Citi bank before without my passport????? How I have banks with Chase and BofA. I had all the correct documents with legal authorization . But this lady wasted my time and ruined my day. I asked manager bussiness card she said she don’t work here. She was trying to give a number. But later I asked another employee and he said yes Manager Ronni sit to this room and he try to find the card for me . But no card left. But I hope this review will be reviewed by Ronni as well. I’m totally disappointed with this branch. I could not open the account. Sorry to share this bad experience…!!!!

Rahel helped us with a somewhat complicated application process & she was patient & AMAZING. Can’t speak highly enough about her. The space is clean & open, everyone was super friendly. We truly had a great experience 😃

Bad customer service. Citi seems to be going down. The branch never responds either in email or phone call. To ask a simple question, you have to visit the branch and seek out an employee each time. I do not know what the higher management is doing. I am guessing they do not care.

Very poor response to a request to be put in touch with a banking professional that never got in touch with me via email or phone.
Good luck calling this branch and getting through to someone they never pick up the phone.
Even after the banking representative having called and having given me a telephone number to call to get more information, it proved to be futile, the representative on the phone even having asked for a supervisor didn't/ couldn't understand what I was trying to achieve. A verification process of legitimacy of some key documents, before sending money overseas. That's really sad, a large banking institution such as Citibank has no real backbone and viability to verify important legal documentation associated with an estate rendering itself useless.

Letter's do not reach them & they are delaying for last 3 weeks. Do not bank with them. Only way to communicate is letter. No fax & no email. Please give money to charity but do not bank with them.

Can never get a person on the phone. Transferred to call center where employees cannot speak English well enough to answer your questions. Customer service a disaster.

Arlington branch is the closest branch to where we leave and that is 4 hours away. We are trying to close out an account of a deceased family member. We were told by Fatima we’d receive a call within 24 hours with the update. We have been waiting 4 days now. Have not received any calls with updates. Been trying to call and no one ever answers calls at that branch. Do not recommend Citi bank in general to anyone.
