They hang onto expensive items and say they wait for the appropriate season but I go in every season to see if they're on display (they're not) yet the items I've given them haven't sold for YEARS. Prada etc. even though they still say they're "for sale" in my online account, they don't post them in their online store or put them out in their physical store. So where are they? Makes me very untrusting. Last time I'll consign, sorry!

I went here a couple of days ago and the whole system is disorganized with the fitting rooms and the staff was unhelpful. The clothing items are OK yet they sell clothes from Shein which is a fast fashion brand and not good quality. I even saw a shirt from target going for way more then it's worth - a rip off. Don't waste you time and money coming here - go to south moon under (same vibe, close by, and great staff)

Visited this shop last week. This place has gone completely downhill. Workers are uninterested and some are downright rude. Had a feeling they might be racist- I watched them treat me differently from other shoppers. I talked to some of my friends in the area and this seems to be a common trend. Not to mention the clothing selection isn't as good as it once was - So not even worth putting up with the horrible service!! Poor quality, overpriced, terrible selection. Seem to only cater to one size and demographic. This place is yuck !!! Northern VA is supposed to be diverse and classy this place is just the opposite!

The staff here is awesome! Genuinely friendly. Helpful when asked. No stress. No pressure. And absolute gems! My wife found the perfect cocktail gown for an upcoming event at a fraction of the price it retails for. A skirt, a sweater and a purse and could have bought so much more! The selection here is upscale and fashionable at fair prices!

I am a patron of Current Boutique, consignment in Arlington, Virginia. On Wednesday, February 28th, at 1 pm, I visited the store for an appraisal on my nude-colored Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps 120. I asked a clerk who was wearing a leopard print shirt layered with a black leather bustier to take a look at my shoes. Prior to conducting any assessment, the attending clerk requested a certificate of authenticity, a requirement I had not encountered previously. I explained that, due to the shoes' age of six years, I did not have anything but the shoebox. However, I assured her that upon examination, the shoes would align with the standards of authenticity observed in other Louboutin products within the store. Disregarding my explanation, she declined to proceed further, citing the shoes' condition as too worn. Inquiring about the criteria for consignment, I received no definitive response from the clerk. Additionally, my request for a second opinion was met with rudeness as she curtly dismissed the notion, claiming to have already assessed the shoes. Subsequently, I expressed interest in viewing a pair of peep-toe Louboutins displayed for sale, only to find them in a severely deteriorated state, lacking the signature red sole. I am a regular customer at this location as I work in the area. Just a few weeks prior I went into the shop with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps that weren't in the best condition but I at least received a fair quote and treatment. And the clerk didn't ask for a certificate of authenticity. I'm sure this behavior definitely falls below acceptable standards of customer service. I've attached the shoes below for reference. They sold in less than 24 hours on Poshmark.

They are extremely overpriced, not worth all the money at all - the expensive items aren’t that old or rare. There are only a few items that are low-priced. If you come to the store to spend 11$ then it’s worth it, if not, save your money, go somewhere else.

This consignment is extremely overpriced. The clothing is nice and good quality, but just too expensive for consignment.

Don't waste your time shopping or trying to sell here, they don't take anything and everything is overpriced for used stuff. Leaving 2 stars because u can get lucky but honestly, unless your style is 2016 preppy lily pulitzer, it's a waste of your time.

Said simply: I love the Clarendon store and the Current Boutique concept. I’ve been shopping and consigning here for over 6 years. This is not thrift. It’s quality, often high-end designer items that are organized by size and sometimes genre - there’s always a fun rack or two (currently a Taylor Swift rack full of sparkles in honor of her tour and a Cottage Core rack that makes me want a weekend house at the Cape). I’ve found lovely like-new Missoni, Chloe, Prada, and Gucci pieces as well as a pair of Tod’s driving shoes and Golden Goose sneakers. They also have some less expensive items - its the best place for Free People! There’s something for everyone and always a fun adventure shopping here. The store is clean and the staff is made up of the sweetest most helpful women. They don’t sell on commission - so no pushy sales here. Instead I’ve never been there without a nice hello when I walk into the store and an immediate offer the hold my clothes until I’m ready to try them on. It’s a great experience overall.I don’t often post reviews but after reading one of the other reviews I felt compelled because I enjoy shopping here so much. I’d like to note-there’s no scam here and again- it’s not a thrift store. It’s consignment -and good consignment at that. They’re super picky about what they take based on what is currently fashionable plus what is going to sell-and based on season too! When they don’t take your clothes, you don’t have to leave them there. Take them home - give them to charity yourself. I personally am grateful that they’ll donate for me!

Very cool boutique! I found expensive brands from Revolve. Although I did notice they mark their items on the higher end for consignment stores.

This store has a nice assortment of clothing for any occasion. From its methodically arranged racks and elegant displays, this place has a open atmosphere and encourages exploration. The items in the store are in pristine condition, the staff is very knowledgeable and items are reasonable priced. It is a trove for fashion enthusiasts and I will be back!

Something tells me that this store is running a scam. Today they refused to accept my clothes based on dark color, old collection, season or light stains under arm pits (the ones only seen only by them, I didn’t see anything). When I asked what about pants that have a tag on, they said they didn’t see any. I brought three huge bags and when it took them 5 min to “look through” I already knew they didn’t bother to check everything. I pulled out the pants and they were on the very bottom of my bag where I packed it, they still refused them because it’s “old collection”. Like when thrift stores became fast fashion oriented - it is a THRIFT STORE for a reason. It is important to add also that they have a lot of clothes in the store with holes or stains, a lot of dark/black outfits - while rejecting and using this as an argument. When I asked about donation they did not provide any receipt referring to the fact that they are not donation place (as per them they are donating to Salvation Army). Why now I can’t shake the thought that they just simply took my clothes for free under donation disguise to actually sell it in one of their stores? Very sketchy.
