Probably the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. Was not at all gentle, tugged and pulled at the hair. Was very painful. Dint even apply heat protectant and applied blow dry on max heat settings and my scalp burnt. I would avoid at all costs. Though the pricing is tempting!

Seems like all the bad reviews are removed because I don't know how this person still owns a salon. Probably the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. Cut way too much off and didn't listen, tugged and pulled at the hair. Was very painful. And then argued at the end when said it was too much off. Very rushed too. Look at his response continues to gas light. I would avoid at all costs.

I just moved to crystal city and was needing a refresh on my hair. Was able to get an appointment the next day, for a blonde highlight and root touch up. I am so happy and impressed. I’ve never been to a salon for less than 3.5 hours. Issa got me in and out so quickly and my hair looks way better. Highly highly recommend - i will definitely be going back.

Mr. Issa is super efficient and also perfect. I grew out a haircut I got from Korea that I was unhappy with in the hopes that it might look better grown out. My typical stylist in the DMV is far from me and is always booked out so I looked for a new stylist close to my work place. I found Mr. Issa who had glowing reviews and decided to take a chance. I have pin-straight, thin Asian hair and I did have a small amount of apprehension that he wouldn’t know how to deal with it well (my Asian girlies can probably relate lol). Fortunately for me, he is an efficient tactician so my fears were completely unfounded. I showed him a single picture of a long, layered look which was originally what I wanted and he went right to work. I can’t stop walking past the mirror to look at my perfect layers. The best part, I was done with my cut in 20 mins but still came out with the hair I requested and his pricing is really fair.
Also he works with the coolest pair of scissors!
