Phenomenal shop, just go. If you know know the value of a good fly shop, you’ll quickly realize this is a great one. If you don’t, you’ll quickly understand why this beats online retailers any day of the week. I used to work in a fly shop and I learned a ton. Service is clearly at the heart of this business. Needed help with planning a trip to Belize. Ivan found a 10 wt reel with a SA grand slam line on it and we went out and tried it. Perfect match for me and my rod.Rich gave a great tutorial of what to expect for fishing and I finished up with leaders, tippet and flies.These guys have helped me several times in the past and came through again for me. Best shop on the East Coast.Craig VK

I highly recommend the fly fishing clinics at District Angling. They offer excellent instruction and their guides have a lot of patience. I learned a lot in just two days and even caught some gorgeous rainbow trout (12!) along the way.

Rich (AKA Owner is always kind, informative and his knowledge on many creeks throughout VA, MD, Patagonia is a added perk you will not get at another fly shop in our area. Orvis was a fly fishing store now a clothes store. Nothing personal but you will not get what DA has. Give Rich support as so can become a solid fly shop again..He gave me great advice on what's happening now at the Savage River that I may otherwise missed out on. This week.Thanks Rich.Lewis
