I’d been getting ready to move out of state for some time and boxing items to our storage space. Every single person we dealt with was fantastic. We moved out on the last day of our storage lease and I spoke with Teresa on details: she was super nice and let me know that though they closed at 6, we could move out until 10 that night. I gave our movers the address to a different location of Extra Space storage just a couple blocks away - I had been really pressed hard the previous days due to the move and was in no way operating at peak. I popped into the office and asked if this was Fillmore st and the super surly reply from Shawn was ‘No!’- because clearly I’m an idiot.. I waited a couple beats and prompted ‘What street is this?’ The even more surly remark was ‘10th st!’- Shawn didn’t have to add idiot at the end because it was pretty obvious. He then locked the door loudly behind me- I get it- you’re closed. My guys got there and were upstairs and after running out to my truck, my entrance code stopped working- I knocked on the door and Shawn makes the slash across throat move several times to let me know I was screwed. Thank god Teresa opened the door for me and checked my code- I had been inputting it wrong. I then had words with Shawn- he should not be allowed around your customers- he is an absolutely tragic customer service rep. Teresa cooled me down and apologized for HIS behavior- he certainly did not. She even called me later to apologize again for him- she was just great. Shawn is unfit for his position and should be fired. He clearly hates his job and his customers (or maybe just me).

Teresa was amazing! I had my things here for 3 years and I just moved. It was super simple moving in and super simple moving out. My things had no signs for bugs, pests, or any debris on them. I had so much peace of mind while my things were at this Extra Space Storage and that's a great feeling to have.
