The results speak for themselves, but it's so good I still need to tell you about it. It's not cheap and we only did a month there with a Black Friday half-price special before we moved over to Alexandria, but the experience we had couldn't have been better. The coaches are so positive and motivating, as well as thorough in their pre workout demonstrations and make those small corrections in our movements that make all the difference in our results and the burnnn! They coaches have a built a solid community within the gym which can't be understated.The HIIT circuits are setup so nicely, flowing through about 10 different stations and leaving the whole body worked by the end of the class. These classes are pretty solid for building muscle but you're not going to get huge or insanely strong with this style of workout. This will be more for toning muscle/athletic build as well as gaining functionality and work capacity. It's nice that it's all based on time rather than numbers so everybody can go at their own pace. However, if you really want to push yourself as hard as possible, then I'd say this targets the heart and lungs more than anything, and health is what it's really all about. This is even true in the resistance classes, which you always leave with a serious pump. The weights you're using aren't as heavy as CrossFit which mostly allows for you to push yourself in a safer and higher paced manner and there's more variance in exercises and movements than Orange Theory without the concern of running injuries so while all of the big name HIIT enterprises have some advantages, I believe F45 is the best because it has the most well-rounded diverse stimulus mentally and physically and therefore has the most potentially for truly being "in-shape", healthy, functional, and athletic because you're more motivated to consistently train hard and allowed to do so while staying injury free.If I have to knock it I'd say that some of the exercises are more body building oriented (fly's and curls) than I'd like, but most are performance based. I will also admit, if this were my only training then I'd definitely like to have heavier weights on resistance days because those end up mostly being muscle endurance for me (which is more important than raw strength if I'm forced to choose). I'd also appreciate a little more sprinting but I know that greatly increases the injury risk so I understand the omission there. Also if there was more space, I would love to incorporate something more explosive like med ball throws. All in all though, considering the energy in there, the results you'll get from start to finish only sacrificing 45 minutes to make the rest of your day better, this place is great!

I’m loving F45!!! The challenge has been super fun, the coaches are great with correcting form and pushing me to go heavier. I can’t wait to see my results!

good trainers but not proper parking available, second small studio and reservations is open for over limits most time I arriving earlier and making my experience time and paying more for training but because of parking not available and more people which is every body already booked when the training start i remember Black Friday night in mall can't find place for your steps so no way except leaving in the middle of exer so that's it .

This gym is nothing but awesome! I've gone to over 100 classes at F45 Shirlington and I'm a very happy member. The workouts are challenging, yet sustainable. The coaches are incredibly fun and treat you like a friend. I've made great friends at F45 that help me stay accountable. I love the music and variety of workouts. I'm often running late, and the coaches have always been kind and understanding. They offer lots of classes to accommodate anyone's schedule (5:30 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, etc.)

I was intimidated to start F45 but once I found this studio, I was hooked from day 1!I was welcomed into the F45 Shirlington location with open arms and have loved coming to this studio! The trainers are respectful, communicative and kind, showing modifications when needed and giving encouragement to push harder when motivation starts to slow. I love being a part of this community and look forward to my morning classes every week!

All the coaches are the best. They bring a great energy to the class and are extremely knowledgeable and understanding of everyone’s abilities. The classes are always upbeat and are great for all sorts of lifestyles. Plus they love dogs!

Been a member here since Jan 2022 and have had an amazing experience! I originally joined to lose 10-15 pounds for my wedding in October 2022 and met that goal!The staff here are super friendly, knowledgeable, and they become part of your life and community. I really appreciate coach Misha, Erin, and Milica for always checking in on me, adding more weights during my workouts, and just being amazing people. Highly recommend this place!!!

Been going to F45 Shirlington since August and absolutely love it! The location is perfect, coaches are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the workouts yield REAL results if you stay consistent! Love the sense of community here and can’t wait to continue going as we head into 2023. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new gym.

I have been a member of F45 Shirlington since they opened in September 2021. The coaches are all very helpful and encouraging of my specific goals and keep the energy going during the normal 45 minute sessions and the grueling 60 minute Saturdays. The workouts are HIIT with varying resistance, cardio, and hybrid days. The classes are what you make of them - you need to put in the effort and choose the weight that works for you. The membership is also very welcoming and I've made a lot of close friends that make me smile when I see we're in class together.Overall, I would recommend F45 Shirlington to anyone who wants to build and maintain a lean/toned physique while also building cardio endurance without needing to run on a treadmill for hours at a time.

I was so excited when Shirlington got an f45 in the neighborhood! This is an incredible 45 min workout that focuses on cardio days, strength days, and hybrid classes. I’ve solely been coming to this studio since they first opened and have seen amazing progress in my strength training and my cardio endurance. The trainers are the reason I keep coming back though- this amazing group is invested in your success- they focus on your form, help with modifications, and root you on when you don’t feel like you can do anymore! I can’t recommend f45 shirlington enough!
