This place doesn't honor pre order bonuses. Why do people shop here again? Last time I'll use GameStop to buy anything. The nostalgia isn't worth the bad serviceEditing to add, I called multiple times with no answer before coming in. Then when I came in they said the bonus was in the mail with my order, which it wasn't. So let's add misinformed and inattentive staff to the list

Of the GameStop stores I've visited, I didn't like this one at all, the items were disorganized and there was no one to help you look for what you needed. I think they can improve in this particular store.

Walked in about 7:15 pm on 12/14/23 with my boyfriend for a PS5 we ordered at about 5:50 pm. There was a woman associate with an FBI (Full Blooded Italian?? ??♀️ lol) hat on. She attended to us immediately. Our order wasn't ready as she was alone and didn't have time to in such short notice. She went straight to the back and grabbed our PS5. My boyfriend gave her a hard time about not having big bags to put the PS5 in. She was respectful yet stern with her response which I completely respect! She gave us a box for our PS5 and now we are home happily setting up our new toy lol. My boyfriend admitted he was wrong and respected the way she handled the situation. I hope she sees this because she's doing a great job!!

My recent experiences at the Pentagon City Gamestop Location have been nothing short of disappointing. On numerous occasions, the store was closed during advertised hours, leaving me and other customers confused and unable to shop.My latest visit, on the release day of Pokémon Paradox Rift, was particularly frustrating. An employee incorrectly stated that the new items were not in stock. When pressed to check, his response was condescending. Later, a phone call revealed that the items were indeed in stock but hadn't been placed on the floor. Accordingly, I ordered online for in store pickup, but the employee told me later that he would not be inventorying them today. This discrepancy was not only misleading but also wasted my time and dampened my enthusiasm for the release.The store's layout was disorganized, with shipping boxes obstructing the Pokémon display area, making it difficult to browse the selection.Adding to the disarray, the same employee refused to give out the Pokemon Promo Iron Moth Promo card. I was incorrectly told that only items from the new set would qualify for the Iron Moth promo card, even though none were on display. The policy at this location before today, and at other locations has always been any Pokemon trading card product.Perhaps most concerning was the employee's behavior towards younger patrons, demanding anyone under 18 leave unless accompanied by a chaperone, coupled with unnecessary shouting and screaming at teenagers who were asking to buy games.As a dedicated customer, it's disheartening to see such a lapse in professionalism and customer service. I've always enjoyed shopping at GameStop and have had positive experiences at other locations, but the situation at Pentagon City is in dire need of management's attention and corrective action.

Got kicked out for not being 18. Never seen a GameStop with that rule. Should only need a guardian if buying 18+ plus games. Very upset.

I had a bad experience in the store, I had bad customer service, on the website it says that the service is until 9 pm I went at 7:30 and in a very rude tone they said that I could not enter the store that they would no longer serve more customers and then they took out a sing that they will return tomorrow at 10

When they are open the staff is amazing. I bought my latest Xbox console there. And the person behind the counter was very helpful at helping Yeah, i'd which one to purchase as they had A few options.But 1 day I went to replace By controller and they were actually closed with a sign on the door saying "I had to take a break. I left at 5:10 I'll be back at 6:10." This story's management needs to fix itself. No store employee should feel like they have to shut down the store to take a break.
