“I think my 6 year old said it best, "wow! This is like an art museum! Oh every room gets better!" Urban farmhouse is a treasure. I come here (and upstairs to Covet) any time I want to find a unique and thoughtful gift. I adore the urban farmhouse vibe, I think I've gotten everything from greeting cards to unique vases to guacamole dishes to bottle openers to tea mugs. I'm delighted every time by the curated selection and friendly service. Shop local and this lovely spot!!”

“This store is a breath of fresh air, a lovely respite from a world flooded with cheap, artificial, one-time-use products. Trade Roots is curated with thoughtful gifts, clothes, home decor, jewelry, and knick knacks. I walked in recently and immediately saw the perfect gifts for some friends. Everything here is so beautiful and unique. It's not one of those boutiques where everything is just resold from Amazon with a green washed label. The Trade Roots website explains why the fair trade, sustainable mission is important to the store. The food and drinks are delicious here, too! There is some seating inside, as well as tables outside that face the main drag in Westover. Come for a chai and some housewares, leave feeling happy.”

“I have gone there several times for embroidery, and they have always been very friendly from the time I call until I pick up my quality embroidered item. The owner, Johanna, and her staff are always extra sweet and fun. They really are the best. They have a super cute shop and they ALWAYS (and I do mean always), finish my items quicker than expected.”

“Wonderful store! Bought two marionettes and the owner was kind, friendly, and very helpful. He took the time to show me how to care for the puppets and had some very fascinating stories to tell while I was shopping. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in puppetry. If you want to visit but are concerned about it being closed, the owner was very responsive when we called and asked what the hours were and what time he would be closing.”

“We had a last minute order for a senior citizen group of Arlington Virginia. They planned a picnic event. I called Edible at N. Quincy street and explained that I wanted to make it special for the seniors and if they could assist me with creating an arrangement for me to pick up. The lady that took the order was so friendly and nice she said yes I can pick it up. The arrangement was beautiful ? ? ?”
