All the pharmacists I've interacted with at this HT location have always courteous, accurate, and prompt in filling Rxs.

The pharmacist here was incredibly rude to me and provided false information about eligibility for a COVID booster. Do not recommend coming here for any vaccinations.

Prescription Denied by Pharmacy "Student" AmeliaI went to get a new prescription filled at the "Drop-off Window". I was met by pharmacy technician/student named "Amelia". Amelia scanned in my script and after 1 minute, told me that HT could not fill the script because it is a medication that needs to be compounded. I called my doctor's office and Anthem insurance. Anthem told me that the medication is a "combination" medication and not a compound medication. They told me that they covered the generic medication and there was no reason to be denied. They also told me that Amelia never even transmitted the script to them, which should be illegal. I called HT to talk to pharmacist directly about the error and to see if they would fill the script. Amelia answered the call, blocked me from speaking directly to the pharmacist and put me on perpetual hold. Amelia, the pharmacy technician denied me my necessary medication. I filed a complaint with HT Corporate. My responses were voicemails from managers who told me to call them back on the same pharmacy line where I was blocked by the tech from speaking with the pharmacist! No apology for the error, no offer to fill the script, and no accountability. They really don't care about customers and the impact of denying a person necessary medication. When were pharm techs given the authority to deny prescriptions and to bypass submitting scripts to insurers? Amelia ignored regulatory controls and pharmaceutical protocols and should not allowed to become a licensed pharmacist. IF she takes shortcuts as a pharmacy student, what shortcuts will she take as a pharmacist? This pharmacy allowed her to bypass professional protocols. It's really scary. I called the regulatory authorities and they told me that it was "poor quality of care" issue. They recommended that I change pharmacies before another major mistake or wrongful denial was made.

Pharmacy is great EXCEPT one of their pharmacists named Mae. She was so incredibly rude and seemed to have the worst attitude for no good reason. She wouldn't make eye contact with anyone, including a young mom in front of me who asked about a prescription for her baby who was in a stroller. Mae waved her off, rolled her eyes, and told the mom to call the number on a card by throwing it at her without even looking at her. When I walked up, she also wouldn't look at me and acted annoyed. Is this how she treats everyone? Harris Teeter, you should not employ this pharmacist.

I do not understand why those other folks listed this pharmacy as a poor location. The folks here went out of their way to work with my insurance companies and doctor's offices. Unlike others they actually take the time to get to know you and what you need. They are not only selling you medications but a sense that you are going to be okay. You are not just another number but rather a person.

If I could give a zero rating I would. Whenever I've been to pick up a prescription the pharmacist has been rude and curt. Today I had a question about a refill and called the pharmacy for over 4 hours repeatedly with no answer. I finally called the store manager who walked to the pharmacy immediately and got the pharmacist on the phone. It took almost 10 hours for one refill. I'm changing pharmacies ASAP. (The store manager was very courteous and helpful though so I'll still shop at Harris Teeter).

Worst pharmacy eve. They aren't fully stocked, take forever to fill prescriptions, have limited hours and the staff is, for the most part, unfriendly. I can't stand this pharmacy. With so many other choices why bother.

There's a long line at the deli counter at lunchtime, but they have a lot of grab and go options. Just be sure to check the dates!

Friendly staff and pretty quick about filling prescriptions. Would recommend! (Bonus: pharmacy is next to the wine, so next time you're waiting on an Rx, treat yoself.
