My Taxes have been with H&R Block since April 15 starting at the Falls Church Broaddale location. I was working if you call it working with Pooja. Then my taxes and my Moms taxes migrated to Louisa or Lois at George Mason Dr. she has called me 2x but no results on refunds or what the status is. Customer service means a lot to me and not getting a call back really sucks. Next year I really have to rethink where I’m getting my taxes done. I don’t want to receive a response from the owner I want answers today. I deserve that.i had a call from 703-671-8210 another H&R Block location saying they never received my documents which I know is a lie. So nothing has been done on my taxes. We’re going on 3 weeks that H&R Block has had my taxes. They have to start from the beginning and I’m still waiting to receive an email from the person attempting to give me her email address that I could not understand. Still don’t have it. Oh, they cannot send me my paperwork via email. They have to make some changes to accommodate what they haven’t done right by me.

Krystal & Staff 5 stars! Excellent customer service from start to finish! It was late, but the receptionist was kind, patient, attentive to my situation. Knowledgeable and professional office staff. Everyone was relaxed, but working with a purpose! Warm office environment.
Krystal was great! Thoroughly double checking all of my tax info and explained everything with ease.
I could hear the staff making adjustments to their schedule, working as a team to help as many customers as possible, asked each other questions for clarification if needed— supportive environment.
I left HRBlock for about 3 years, working with TurboTax, but this experience will definitely have me return to this exact HR Block location next year!

I worked with Meswaet Belachew for my 2023 taxes. She was easy to work with and the whole process was quick. We did everything online and communicated via emails and phone calls. The reviewing, payment, approving process was quick and easy and it was all done on the HR block website account.

Awful service, I had to correct them multiple times because random numbers kept showing up in my form and they kept inserting the information wrong. Then I had to pay an absurd amount when my salary or tax withholding has not changed since last tax season. They also refuse to answer my calls. The manager said she’d “look into it” and now refuses to get on the phone with me. Avoid this office at all cost, it’s a scam

My appointment was at 1:30pm. I arrived at 1:15pm just to make sure I am not making anyone wait on me. I waited 45 minutes, what really got me upset is that person who had 2pm appointment was called before I did which made me little bit more irritated.

This is the most disappointed and poorly run office ever. They open the office but no one is there to serve you. Why do you open your office when there’s nobody present to service people? There were 6 people that were present to file their taxes . You said on the door that walk ins are welcome but there’s not a single soul. I came at 12, nobody was there. I then came at 1, still nobody. Update your hours so people can know what to expect. There was an elderly lady who took the bus to come twice, still nobody. This is disappointing. Do better

Prompt response at my scheduled appointment. Eileen Nicotra Walked me through step-by step preparation of Federal and state forms. She was very courteous.However, she was the only person in that office, and had to greet people who walked in the office, which did slow her down.
