Employees at this location are KNOWN for backdooring shoes to resellers and get mad when you ask for a size of a “hype” shoe. Horrible customer service, they act like they own the store and they own the shoes.

The employees here backdoor pairs to “VIP” customers and to the other sneaker stores in pentagon city, corporate needs to do something about this. Backdooring is getting out of hand

First time buying shoes at JD Sports. Worst customer service at Pentagon City Mall. Pretty sure management does not even know what it means to provide exceptional customer service. Bought a pair of shoes and received two different shoes. The two color choices are very similar, so the mistake is very understandable. Had to look very close to distinguish them. Another problem experienced, the pair might have been defective as well because the right shoe was making squishy noise. Before going to the store, I wore the shoe in the office for few hours, one time. Store management would not accept the return, because the shoe was considered worn/damaged. Took a while to come up with that decision. My question to request a return might have been too complex. I asked why? She said there were few black sock lint balls inside the shoe. Although, options offered were an replacement pair (size not available in store) or store credit. But NO REFUND. This coming from the store manager and the assistant manager. Never had such an experience returning shoes before at other stores. I have returned shoes, where stores don’t even inspect the shoes. Seems like this JD store considers taking their profit more important than offering superior customer service. One thing that the staff there were able to do right was find the correct single shoe very quickly in the back. When I inspected the inside of that shoe, I saw black lint balls. I could say there is a slight possibility that if people who wear black sock and try on their shoes, leave sock residue inside shoes. I could be very wrong. But their detective work is very precise. They are able to give me an damaged shoe, according to their way of defining it, but would not accept a return when I damaged it. That sounds about right. I did not want to make a big fuss about it but I can keep going. JD stores collect in store charity money from customers. I checked my receipt after the original purchase, and I realized that the store collected charity money from me without my consent. Did not even ask me if I wanted to make a donation. Know when a wrong might has been done and accept any accountabilities.

The new management at this location stinks!!! You can’t get shoes on release dates, because they’re back-dooring them to resellers. They won’t sell you ticketed shoes that were not picked up the day after the release, so they can sell them at a profit. Holding in-store raffles after shoes are released so they can hand pick who gets the shoes. I even witnessed the resellers next door pick up dozens of pairs of shoes on the evening of a shoe release. Sounds like embezzlement to me ?.

This was the first time shopping at this store, I’m very disappointed, I bought for my daughter shoes, didn’t fit her well, I decided to return them the next day.the Shift manager refused to return them, she said that they has been worn.stop going this store.Footlocker is the best choice

Worst place ever lady lied about a release that I asked about but sold the shoe to multiple other customers mind you I work at a shoe store in the mall at pentagon city.
