Kenny is a hair GURU. You can tell he truly loves what he does and I can say with confidence that he is the BEST in the DMV area. He’s been doing my family’s hair for 30+ years. I dyed my hair for the first time in early 2024 and the stylist I went to completely botched the “natural highlights” look I asked for. This pushed me to go to another hair stylist to “fix” the issue. They made it worse by dyeing my hair black, far from my natural color. I received a referral to Kenny after expressing my grievances to a few family members. My initial consultation with Kenny was in June 2024. He did a phenomenal layered cut, restoring my hair health. My hair has grown so fast in just a few months. Strangers will stop me in the street to ask who my stylist is because how beautifully he cut and layered my hair. Kenny also noticed immediately that my hair color was way too dark for my facial features i.e. eyebrows and eye color.
During my color consultation, Kenny walked me through a hair catalog where I was able to compare each color to my skin tone by wrapping the sample hair around my finger, justifying his thoughts and truly taking me through a hair transformation journey, while sipping on the most delectable Turkish coffee. This man isn’t a hair stylist .. he is an ARTIST! 5 hours later and without using bleach.. Kenny lightened my hair and brought me back to my natural hair color. I was hesitant about lightening my hair due to the damage it may cause but my hair is looking and feeling unbelievably healthy. Kenny took his time and did a proper job. I walked out of that salon SO happy and I can’t thank him enough for saving my hair.
OH and Jay is the BEST right hand man. He usually does my hair washes and deep conditioning masks. My blowouts last up to a week because of how well he cleans my hair. My scalp feels refreshed afterwards. The entire team here is fabulous but Kenny is the star ⭐️

I got a haircut and blowout and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The stylist listened to exactly what I wanted and made my hair look and feel amazing. The salon was clean, relaxing, and super welcoming. Definitely coming back!

I have been going to Kenny’s for over ten years. His Salon is always clean. Kenny is the most professional stylist I have ever used. His staff are polite and professional as well. Kenny is extremely skilled at cutting hair. Be sure to clearly communicate what you want and bring photos if you can. His shop is a bit old school and outdated, but the hair washing stations are oddly the most comfortable I've ever experienced.
