Long Bridge Park is a big and beautiful park with more than 36 acres of recreation and open space. It is a distinctive showplace with attractive public green spaces. The high-quality sports and recreation facilities are accessible to all and include several soccer pitches, which are fine for soccer and used for competitive football. It features one of the best playgrounds in Arlington with a kids' playground, a mister section, and a mound playground. There are decent sidewalks for walking, strolling, jogging, or child bike riding, a big grass area, and benches. The park has public restrooms, though they are sometimes very dirty. The main parking lot is a bit too crowded and poorly designed. It is located by the famous Reagan National Airport where planes fly overhead.
