Probably the worst customer service that anybody could receive in any of the cosmetic stores I truthfully do not believe there’s anybody worse than that specific store at the Pentagon mall. Mac do yourself a huge favor and replace your current staff with a more welcome friendlier and approachable staff. Mac start viewing your store cameras and seek to it that your staff actually helps customers and speaks to them and not gather around the register and have tee time.

They were ok and helped me find good colors. I did a trial and the artist applied good colors but she gave me the wrong color lipstick to purchase after I tried 3 different colors. I mean the color I purchased was not one of the ones I tried. Expensive error on her part. 40 bucks down the drain. I might seem spoiled for trying on makeup but I don't buy makeup much and it was for an event so I hope she didn't ring up the wrong color on purpose.

Visited to update my foundation and wasn't sure what to expect given the COVID-19 restrictions. Brandon provided excellent service because he took the time to listen to my needs and tried various shades of foundations on my hand so I could keep my mask on. He added a bonus product for me to try and another staff person recommended a fantastic lipstick too! Thanks for the great experience and sorry if I got your gender pronouns incorrectly!

I was excited with my first visit, as I appreciate these experts of Make-Up who genuinely embrace us non-wearing makeup people as myself. Even though I'm a lipstick fanatic, I didn't know there's a Primer for your lips. Azeez, sold me on the Primer as well as the Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick - Red, that he said was long wear & doesn't run. Even with applying the Primer, the application still looked feathery & the lipstick comes off/runs pretty easily. Not to mention, I had to return to the store to exchange the first Lipstick as it was broken. Azeez stated he had to keep the box to 'damage out' the product, which I didn't prefer in case I needed to make another exchange/return. I did mentioned my concern with the lipstick & wish I would have just returned it...wasted money & lesson learned. Sometimes 'Freebies' aren't always worth it.

This MAC should have 5* rating.. their service is great and sure every Mac can be busy but the team and security are always welcoming. Janelle has been my go to for over a year now, that GURL puts me in all the right colors for my skin tones, educated me on make up and brushes, applying etc. she is genuine and makes personal connections and always remembers what I got prior (w/out looking me up on the cpu). She spent 10 minutes one time hunting for a color I was obsessed with, from then on I will go to her over Sephora... she is the brand to me. She just happens to work at Mac opposed to another shop.

Poor service, employees seem distracted by customers when more than one person needs product. Must do better, never had a MAC experience like this before.

Nope...came in to get some makeup & the girl helping me out was extra nice & flirty towards my boyfriend. We were both shocked, that was very rude & inappropriate.

While causally entering Mac i was greeted by a bunch of beautiful ladies isis approached me to assist me individually. I explain to isis that I was looking for a foundation that wasn't to heavy nor to light. Assuming the question was asked too frequent she began to say irritatedly " y'all come In here asking for that all the time but all our foundations are full coverage" instead offering me something that would best fit my request I felt I was being pushed out the store instead .
