I asked the lady working in the fitting room for the code for the bathroom and she said I need to wait in the line (which was absurdly long) and ask a cashier. She either didn’t want to help me or store didn’t give her the code. It shouldn’t be that hard for a paying customer.

Don’t even bother using the bathroom.
I had to wait for a long time for them to open .

Really bad experience it’s like when I went for check they were asking or maybe forcing again and again for buying Marshall card like literally more than 10 times and I said I’m good I don’t want to she was asking again and again so dumb

The deals here are pretty good, HOWEVER, when you have people waiting in line for 20 minutes you should really pause the sales pitch on the TJ Maxx credit card or whatever it is. This creates a very negative experience for customers who have to wait extra long so you can send every customer through your sales pitch. If you wish to do this you should have all check out lanes open, not just 3 out of 12. This is poor business practice.

Good selection but they really need more cashiers there's a 17 person line and only 3 people on checkout.
Edit; manager is on break so they can't find the prices of untaged items. We're down to 2 cashiers and 23 person line. 15 min to get to checkout.

I brought up a sports jacket I really liked, but noticed it had a tear in the seam with a thread pulled while waiting in the aisle. I asked for a price off for it. Yessenia came up and instead of taking anything off for it, pulled at the thread and made it way worse, then said someone else will buy it like that so take it or leave it. What horrible customer service!!! Not only does she not take off for something she should have, she literally made it worse and then quipped inappropriately that someone else would just buy it. Terrible! Won’t be back.

Wife and I stopped by after a random trip to DC to record a podcast with Bernard Toney Jr. We arrived without plans and had no intention on staying in DC but change our mind at the last second. We drove to Marshalls and got everything we needed.

Store would not let me use the bathroom. If stores continue not to cater to customers and foot traffic, might as well shop online. Would not shop here

Unfortunately it doesn’t surprise me the customer service lacks here. I Heard employee Maria say to coworker( older bald man) that some of the customer are disrespectful . Whether that’s true or not, should not be said out loud. Called and complained, spoke to a manager , Ashley who seemed to have an attitude, claimed she didn’t but no point in arguing. She said ‘ do you plan on coming back to the store? I can offer 10% next time.’ Apparently many of the associates cannot say something as simple as hello . Side note, the store is not the cleanest either. Hopefully management will train on customer service as some need a refresh.
