Thank you Mom’s for providing a place to compost food and recycle various items! Great store to find local produce and healthy options.

The customer service from today was awful. The cashier lady was very rude and angry, she was throwing my groceries as she was scanning them and when we thanked her she left and did not answer. She looked like she hated her job, customer service needs to be kind and respectful even more when we as customers are being kind to them. Thank you!

I always buy wheat grass from Mom's Organic market. Some of the potential health benefits of drinking wheatgrass juice include boosting the immune system, detoxifying the body, improving digestion, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting weight loss. Wheatgrass juice is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can help strengthen your immune system and protect against illnesses. It is also known for its detoxifying properties, as it can help remove toxins from the body and support liver function. By improving digestion, wheatgrass juice can aid in better nutrient absorption and relieve symptoms of indigestion. Its high antioxidant content can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, which may contribute to chronic diseases. Furthermore, wheatgrass juice is low in calories and can help curb cravings, making it a good addition to a weight loss diet.

My first time shopping at Mom's Organic Market to look for Raw Honey that my Doctor advised me to buy. I ask a Store Associate for assistance in locating the honey and buying the correct kind. The Associate Michelle Lewis was so very helpful !! As I had no idea what kind of honey to buy and Ms. Lewis found exactly what I needed, Raw Unfiltered Honey which is what my Doctor suggested I buy. Michelle Lewis was extremally professional and has a delightful customer service personality with a great welcoming smile in my visit to MOM's for my first time ! I will definitely be returning customer now and in the future. Dave Underwood

I really appreciate the efforts by Mom's Organic Market to minimize waste, not packaging many items of produce and instead enabling us to use our own reusuable produce bags and containers. This applies even to spices. This is the only place I know where I can buy organic sugar in bulk without being packaged in thick plastic bags. Returning milk bottles is administratively much easier than at Whole Foods nearby, and one can even buy heavy cream in returnable glass bottles. In other stores organic and non-organic produce gets mixed up and I am constantly having to check labels for the leading "9" digit to make sure, but here I don't have to worry. The quality of produce is excellent. I am grateful this store is relatively close to where I live. I am sorry Naked Lunch is permanently closed.

Mixed feelings about this store! Wonderful products and for the most part great staff. BUT....I was checking out with my toddler. He was hungry as we shopped so I asked a worker if we could open a yogurt and pay for it when we left. I got the OK (and a spoon!). We were checking out, I was putting the groceries onto the counter for checkout, the empty yogurt container was right in the cart and I certainly was going to give it to the clerk. But before I could, a clerk from another register walked over, grabbed the container from my cart, and gave it to the clerk checking me out and said "don't forget this!" or words to that effect. As if I was planning to not pay for it? Really an unnecessary and humiliating thing to do to a customer (with toddler watching the whole thing). I haven't been back since.

This place is awesome! Great selection of really fresh produce, frozen foods, ready to eat meals, and everything else you can think of. Only a little expensive.

I love the products here. Prices are high, but the quality is usually exceptional. Vegetables, herbs, and tubers are all fresh and high quality, while the fruits are hit-or-miss. Be careful of the snacks though. You'll become addicted!

Not one person in this place was smiling or nice. None of my questions could be answered and I'm truly sorry I can't speak Spanish but i had a super hard time understanding some of the staff and they got really annoyed with me. I don't like to write negative reviews but management needs to get it together and train these folks better and maybe pay em more so they don't look like their being forced to work. Now i want to go cut myself after leaving that mess of angst, sighs, and suffering.

Mom's fills a critical gap for any resident, particularly apartment dwellers, trying to reduce their waste. I drop off compost, batteries, and all manner of goods they recycle or responsibly dispose of that I cannot get rid of anywhere else. They have a great bulk section for grains, pulses, nuts and spices, which helps keep things cheap and low-waste, and they also have glass bottle milk, again a great waste reduction offering. The quality and price of their proprietary coffee make it a great buy. I will be sad to lose this local chain when I leave.

Love it here! Staff are always nice and kind. Also like that there’s a small discount for bringing a reusable bag. Go Mom’s!

Such a sweet little grocery but you need to know before you go that it isn't a normal grocery and can't replace your need for Safeway, Giant, Whole Foods, or Harris Teeter. The selection is too small, and too over-priced. You'd have trouble assembling full meals here or cooking from scratch. They just don't have all the ingredients. If you want to find plant-based options, including frozen foods, they have them. If you want varieties of milks, including goat, coconut etc. they have you covered, though sometimes they have no lactose free milk. The parking is great. Sadly if you bring in your own bag, which they encourage, and it's one of their own bags from your trip to the store the day before, sometimes their cashiers (mine was one way beyond retirement age) will get confused and charge you for the bag again (the bag you bought the day before). They charge 25 cents for a paper bag.
