I love our local Pure Barre studio! The teachers are super knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. The class mix between Classic and the newer formats offers great options for varying your workouts. If you haven’t tried Pure Barre yet, you are missing out!

I love this Pure Barre studio and the community feel. There are different class formats to choose from, the music is upbeat, and all of the instructors I’ve had are wonderful. They are friendly and provide adjustments when needed to get the most out of class.

This studio has a fantastic line-up of instructors, who not only make you feel welcome but also make sure your form is accurate to prevent injury. I love the community this studio has built and recommend to anyone seeking to feel and look great!

I love this studio and especially the manager, Jess. I've been a devoted client for many years and seen a variety of teachers and managers. Jess brings an infectious spirit and energy to the studio and draws in talented and dynamic teachers. This studio is a great fit for working moms, busy people, and those looking for an effective workout and encouraging environment. The hands-on corrections and technique are crucial snd what sets this studio apart from an "big box gym." I always leave feeling better than when I entered.

I have been taking classes for many years at PB Arlington. The team is (and I cannot stress this enough) the BEST in the business. They are caring, helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and, overall, just amazing. The instructors are more than willing to explain and/or show you anything that you might have questions about, including moves performed during class, modifications, a song that was played, or anything else that might come to your mind regarding form or barre in general. Each class is tough and effective and focuses on form over reps, which is of the utmost importance. PB Arlington has taught me to embrace the shake (that's where the change happens), to love and appreciate my body for what it's capable of, and, most importantly, that "This is YOUR house, YOU own this!!". I highly recommend taking a Foundations Class (it's free!), which will give you the information you'll need prior to taking your first full-fledged class.

Before covid this place was a favorite among my friends. Unfortunately, they have resorted to threats and lies and using the contracts we signed before covid to pay the same monthly fees for virtual barre streaming (almost $200 per month) and not allowing membership freezes without charging. They don't care if you are immunocomprimised, high risk for covid, etc. Either pay them or pay them the cancelation fees and months you can't use. Pay pay pay. That's all they care about, is taking your money. I give 2 stars because this place was the best before, but they just don't care about their members, only their pockets. It is cruel and awful to take financial advantage of people during covid and threaten debt collection agencies when all you are doing is asking for them to freeze your membership.

I've really enjoyed the classes and teachers at this studio for a few years. I was disappointed that this studio had the least flexible pandemic policies of all the gyms and studios I frequent. As a result, I unfortunately lost ~$200 of class credits because they were unwilling to freeze my account and the one online class a day was almost always at a time I was still working (4:30pm, 12pm, 5pm). I've been trying to support businesses during the pandemic and probably would've purchased another class pack to support them if they were willing to allow me to use them when I feel comfortable going back to the studio. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case though, so I'll move on to another studio.

I'm not one to spend time writing long reviews on establishments... but after some time, and thinking about the following this place has, I felt like I should say something. I've never been a pure barre lover, but I figured I'd try a class at this location because it was convenient, and I love barre so much. Well, needless to say, it was not the best experience. I walked into the studio on a Saturday, and was hoping to sign up for class. I didn't sign up ahead of time because I didn't have an account, and wanted to walk in. When I went in and spoke to the woman behind the desk, she was immediately off putting. She said "our classes are often waitlisted so you should've signed up in advance." Well, I wasn't aware, so I didn't even think about that. But ok. She said, "if you wait there (pointing to a corner of the studio, I'll see if you can get in." I felt like a nuisance. I almost wanted to apologize for coming in, but I thought that's ridiculous! As I'm waiting to see if there will be space in the class, another woman joins her behind the desk. They started the most bizarre conversation about buying and selling high end bags. This new woman starts talking about how she buys and sells bags for $3,000+ and how she has connections, very high class, very exclusive... it was just a very strange pretentious conversation to have in a fitness studio. It just didn't feel right. Meanwhile, I'm still there, looking around, waiting to see if I can take class. No one really acknowledges that I'm there, or engaged in conversation. I felt very unwelcome. Very uncomfortable. Very excluded. So, eventually, just left. If you're looking for a place that encourages and builds community, this isn't the place. At least, that was not my experience. There are so many studios in the area that love their people, who care, who show compassion, who are welcoming... this isn't that place. I will never understand the obsession people have with pure barre, If this is the way they treat their students.

Challenging classes and instructors who are more than willing to help correct your form or provide modifications. I always feel strong leaving class!
