Maybe tell your employee who collects baskets from people, specifically the African American one working on Friday 6/28 at 2 PM, not to wait two inches behind people breathing down their necks while they’re checking out and still have things in their baskets. I then realized he was going to creepily stand right on top of me watching me scan my items in self checkout until I was done….. just waiting for my basket….. so I removed all of my items so he’d get away from me. He then passive aggressively said “you’re welcome” while snatching it away. Very bizarre experience and very rude employee. Meanwhile, I always put my baskets away myself so it was a completely unnecessary interaction.

Was hung up on when called to confirm whether they would exchange for a roll of quarters. Poor customers service but convient.

Saw a worker release a cart in the parking lot and it hit a car. I tried to stick around but I had to leave before I could see who owned it. It may have been a workers car or they may have got a hold of the owner. It was a white SUV and it happened around 8:30pm on 6/17/2024

Ben, who works at this Safeway location is easily the most impressive grocery store employee that we’ve ever seen. As diehard Mariners fans, we flew from London to catch a Mariners game in Washington DC and were looking for posterboard to create a custom sign before heading to Nationals Park where we are sitting in the Julio Rodriguez section of the ballpark. It’s my son’s dream to get a ball signed by Julio Rodriguez and so our goal was to make a sign so that Julio would see us and would sign a ball for us at the game. Because of Ben, we will hopefully have that chance at the game today as he’s kindly lent us recycled cardboard and some old paint so that we could create an amazing sign that is sure to get Julio Rodriguez’s attention at today’s game. Thank you Ben. You are an absolute star and for anyone who works with Ben or management of the Safeway location you have an absolute star in your ranks!

Wow, customer service from BEN was truly next level today. We traveled for a baseball game and when we couldn't find the right supplies for a sign to bring with us, Ben not only got creative and went through boxes to custom cut out a perfect sign from blue cardboard, but he even pulled out white paint from back supplies so we could write it out in white and gave us a space to do the work. It truly made our day and we couldn't believe he was so willing and helpful. Thanks for making our day Ben!

Safeway: I liked the salad composition options. Very crisp at the end with pieces of grilled chicken, bread croutons, fresh cucumber and assorted cheeses. I also had a nice piece of roast chicken.
